The Essence Fix It Like a Boss is an acceptable dupe for the Benefit brow gel! Not bad at all for the price!

Can’t afford benefit makeup. On a strict pension, can u recommend something to add to lighten up my foundation, either to warm, or too yellow Thanks I have so many. brands, even have the elf puddy

Body Shop used to sell white drops to lighten foundation. I have the dark drops to darken foundation and they work well. A bottle will last you forever.

I wonder if I’m the only one who goes into the pharmacy with the intention of buying a cleaning product and comes out with makeup? I’m a little bit lazy when it comes to doing my crease shade, so I have an over supply of brown eyeshadow shades I need to use up. Over the last couple of years, I’ve been using my Benefit angle 📐 brush to fill in my eyebrows to use up the excess eyeshadow. Highly recommend a brush like that for filling in brows.

I also go into the pharmacy to buy wet wipes and cotton wool and I come out with 2 mascaras, an essence eyeshadow palette and a catrice blush stick 😜. I'm sure there must be a name for this pathology of ours. Yes to an angled eyebrow brush. It's part of phase 2 of my range xx

Pharmacy amnesia perhaps? CD have put out a beautiful angle eyebrow brush with a spoolie on the other side. Love the two-in-one concept!

Thanks for another fab video! What a difference it makes knowing which brushes you’re using for what! I’ll be ordering the set of 10 and I love the fact that they’re labelled. I look forward to trying them out - sure I’ll do a way better job of applying my makeup.

Love your videos! I looked at your list first and thought it was odd that you listed mac pinch me as your blush but I see now you forgot to replace w Catrice blush stick.

Hi Sue a pretty look. I hope you’re brush set is doing well. I’m overstocked with brushes 😂as my sister often buys me sets as Xmas gifts (plus I buy them from TKMaxx😂). I like quite a few things from Essence and Catrice tbh, but it’s hit and miss I find for my severely dry/sensitive skin. Their liners are very good for the money and blush tends to be great also. For complexion not so much unfortunately for my skin and shade. That L’Oreal mascara was a massive fail for me. I have quite watery eyes due to rosacea causing dry eye and it was a smudgy smeary flaky mess on me. It’s a great wand and on application looked really good, but within ten minutes was everywhere 😂. Truthfully it was the worst mascara I have used in a long time 🤢 yuck. Isn’t it funny how mascara is so personal? I’m glad you like it and I know that I am in the minority as it was very hyped/viral. The new Elf tubing mascara stays on really well for info but won’t give much volume or vavoom lashes. Best wishes x

Hi Loraine. I've had some real misses from Catrice too. Their eyeshadows usually disappoint me. The beauty about these brands is that they are relatively inexpensive, so I tend to buy them when I need a "pick me up". But I purchase with the full knowledge that if they disappoint, at least I haven't broken the bank! I would be devasted if I did the same with say, Chanel! I agree mascara is a very personal thing. I can't wear Maybelline for instance, and they have some of the best. There's something in their formulas that really burns my eyes. Very disappointing 😏
