Imo people will complain no matter what. If they ran klk/fate straight away, waves of people woulda been like "omg why rushing!" or "Wtf my crystals aren't ready!" but then they give us a filler, and people are like "omg why are they delaying klk???" Tbh the only people it would have benefitted to bring klk right away are whales or impatient people. I'm willing to bet 90% of the people whining would not have been ready for houka/fate/etc. anyway. At the end of the day, you have to take advantage of the situation and look at the positives. For me, this filler was a godsend because now I'm pretty confident about both klk and fate, especially if we get another filler in between those.
Same. I was so thankful when OPM dropped. Give me more fillers. It's just free crystals without a need to summon. If I really want to try and get OPM unit, they even added them to Forever Summons.
That’s how JP and global works in these games, those who thinks both game should release the same stuff at same time are just dumb, global version is so behind we only have one nova crest on Friday, there’s literally nothing to rush, and KLK being after opm still rushed. There’s much more other content to complain about like events or side stories yet people choose to cry about the gambling aspect of the game. Very sad.
Basically the only way they could sync is skip a whole bunch of shit (people will complain) or go turbo mode, shitting out content with lots of bugs/bare minimum effort (people will complain). Lose-lose situation.
I’ve only been playing a year and I’m mostly f2p, I spend money on the monthly pass and the $1 new summoner’s pack. I have to say, I love this game and everything that is occurring. I like all the reruns that I wasn’t a part of originally. I think they support F2P fairly well with crystals and the resets I’ve managed to get a good collection of units without going hardcore. I think reruns are essential for the health of a game like this as new players will fee left out not getting older units. They also make characters like Haruto valuable and mean something when you actually get him. And you can get him for free, sure it takes time, but so do all F2P games. I love games that give you the resources needed and time is the only investment. Sure I want KLK out now as I’m desperate to get Mako, but I’m not crippled without her. TLDR: GS Global is doing fine imo.
@hexsenpai - oh for sure, you are a long time vet. I get it. I was that way with Bleach Immortal Souls. I stuck it out until it was clear they would never finish the game or continue to support it. So I 100% understand what seems like false hype or more decisions, but honestly, it does make sense from a business perspective. We will get the shiny new toys eventually, then some other shiny new toy will arrive, and so on and so on. So seeing something like GS that does exclusive units and cross overs is awesome and they give you decent chances on the Free 50 to get a unit is great. Please the rerun the events and even old players like yourself benefit cause you stock pile crystals. It’s all good, just enjoy the ride
tbh mako is not so great now, even the buff she got on JP is meh no duration buff which is something really needed for her due to her long ass animation, barely 10 artgauge on skill, like bruuh it's 2024 who need 10 artgauge on skill??, even OG rimuru got 50 artgauge on his skill with his dream awakening buff, meanwhile mako just got 2 art/s for human (tho it's not that bad since most human unit are broken af) but the fact that mako still need other's to make her start going is kinda lackluster especially since she really doesn't do anything beside buffing other unit, not gonna lie i feel they really did her buff dirty compare to other OG KLK unit buff
I personally think the OPM rerun is meant to line up with the upcoming anime release. GS has also been historically stingy with 5* crossover tickets so that part makes sense to me
Them delaying KLK and Fate gives us more time to save for the units we want I see no problem with that Also we actually get collabs faster than JP, since most of the SAWK units in JP ain't even close to being released on global yet, but we're surely going to get a collab that runs in JP withing 3 months after the collab ends, like some units might take months or a year to come, but collab units are definitely coming in 3 months of their run in JP
With everything happening on JP, global seems pretty stale, opm is okay, but they probably could have made it a 2 week collab and had it right after fairytale so it gives enough of a buffer, while not dragging it on for a month separately. The one upside to global being so behind is how we are getting reruns of stuff like fen and soon to be liza. Also with the knowledge of what the true equip tickets and stuff are going to be buffed with, each of those tickets value to a starting player has skyrocketed. getting a vox with tw and a berwick with tw is insane for early to mid game, basically will let you get through a lot of difficult events. Imma be getting a bunch of rerolls with stargod liza saved up for when klk comes around, and on a couple accounts I will prob get houka, farm those accounts for luck gems, and wait for fate, which then can all go towards the banners, but realistically fate is probably 3 months after klk, knowing how global is rn. I only hope they give out the new ticket pool sooner to make up for it.
I've been playing the game since the first Slime crossover for a while now, to be honest. First and foremost, read everything carefully before jumping in. First this game is a gacha, which is to say above all in game mode, which has an architecture based on profitability and simplicity. Make as much money as possible with as few resources as possible. That means pushing players to pay. If the developers listened to their community, the global version wouldn't be at this stage. But the game isn't sinking, because the survival of this type of game is based on the money provided by the whales. This is how the vast majority of gachas work and I'm not the first to talk about it, videos have been made on the subject. That may sound like the complaint of a bitter man, but it's just reality not a criticism. As for the management of crossovers, I'll give my surely personal opinion. I see it in a good light the fact of having rerun simply leaves time to save gems. It's up to us how we manage our resources; if we run out of gems before a portal we're interested in, then we've fallen into the developers' trap and we risk having to pay or being frustrated. The message is written a bit late, but we've had a rerun of the mines and personally I'm not bored. The global version has been in this configuration for several years now, and nothing has changed. If you're bored with a game, you might as well put it aside and come back when you're interested, it prevents you from doing anything with it. That's all I had to say.
There are problems with GS global but I do hope they won't do anymore filler rerun. OPM is better than Fairy Tail but still. I do want KLK to come back

Grand summoners realizing that they f*cked up the game(they can't stop making super awoken units now or else no one will want to buy their content since old units are becoming more obsolete and in return the game had gotten boring because most content is easy af to clear now): Pure example? They released three different super awoken unit banners during the opm crossover because nobody wants to buy non super spoken units
Power creep is inevitable in these live service games. I do think gs is on the slower side compared to most (*cough cough* revue starlight). Also, the fact that 6 yr old units like fen, sanstone, etc. are still actually decent and they do stuff like DA to make old units less suck is more than you can say for a lot of games.
A another problem I have with both global and jp is that both have not released any new crossover. Like as much as I like the fate rerun, this is like the third rerun crossover and we’ve haven’t gotten any new content based of a different anime or show. Global is not much better either, we just boring filler after filler after filler, at this point there’s like no point to play certain periods of this game.
Even tho last cloudia is not famous, the game gives more better rewards/gifts like giving a single selection ticket for old collab units, gs only did the same when fate rerun'd in jp

yes JP is COOKING right now, IMO your going to want to full pity this banner in JP as they come out not all right now and your going to want to get an many as possible even if you full pity towards the end when all of them are on 2 giant banners. also choose OG Chloe tbh very strong breaker and getting your hands on SMiyu is gonna be godsend to your account!

As a person who has played both versions of the game religiously global still takes the top spot since you can make your account more future proof without having go into crystal debt like in Jp like imagine if global dropped all the good reruns back to back to back to back to back like doesn’t that sound draining? The main problem global has tho is that that with every update it just feels like a damn nothing burger every single time with nothing new actually being added (we still only have one nova) and the rerun crossovers just last way too damn long like the OPM crossover shouldn’t even last for a month 💀 like give that shit 20 days and move on but it’s not like Jp is any better since they don’t get not even 20% of the crystals global gets so once you get to a certain point you’ll just sit with 300 Lpots and 5 crystals until you fold under pressure and spend money on packs ( which is what Jp wants you to do and is built for you to do so). In conclusion you either have to choose between global: crystals & a higher chance to get characters with no content or pots or JP: content & pots but small amounts of crystals & money laundering schemes

I think the global team is aware that global players are not big spenders, that's why they can't rush content like they do in Japan. I would say if people really want to whale for stuff, they should go play the JP version. I actually like this pace tbh. You don't have to whale hard to get units. Imagine KLK back to back with Fate. You're spending $500 to $1000 to get everyone. Now, you can safely get most within a $100 - $200 budget
I agree they should’ve gave us summer units instead of opm and gave us the crossover after. I think opm is cool an all but after the first week it got old
Houka is still top top tier. His biggest pro is the 3000 heal on his skill. With the right equips you can turn him into mini Shiro sans the damage with heals. But that summer Miyu can absolutely crush bosses. I’ve used Uzu as my damage dealer since I started, he’s a one shot master. I did a damage challenge he did 18 million and she did 42 million and I haven’t even used limit breaking stones on her. These characters are fun and hella broken. More of this GS.
