I have both Superfeet and Currex. Superfeet has a curved heel shape underneath and it’s carbon fiber so it won’t warp into the shoe. It’s really unstable in my shoes… that’s why I turn to Currex. Very good experience with Currex.
I actually use these. I use them for both running and soccer cleats. They work very well! I can notice it a lot with my cleats. My feet don’t get as tired.
Thank you for this great advice. I am buying these on amazon but wanted to see reviews. I am definitely a low arch but I only have pain in one foot. I think my left arch is neutral and my right foot is low. Should I only use the right orthotic or go ahead and use both?
I am not a doctor. However, I would go ahead and use both. It will keep the volume of the insoles about the same in both shoes. If you are buying a low profile insole. You will probably not even notice the arch support on your neutral foot with the higher natural arch.
Are use copper fit Work Gear insoles in all my sneakers, they are the thickest over the counter insoles for that particular style. They cushion your feet really good but at the same time since these insoles are pretty thick your toe area is going to feel a little tight and there a heck of a lot cheaper.
I really don't know a lot about Super feet. I know Superfeet and Currex are supposed to be the most popular brands sold at running retail stores. I think they are both good. Per my understanding (uninformed) the Superfeet are a bit more of a harder insert? I know the Currex are mostly a soft material and they claim it doesn't change the fit of the shoe. It should just replace the insoles that come with the shoe.
Superfeet insoles are much more structured and supportive compared to Currex, but the Currex insoles are more dynamic and do a great job of working with your feet instead of against your feet, if that makes sense. It depends on how much stability your feet need. I personally use the Currex insoles for running, and when I had some nasty plantar pains a year ago, I used Superfeet insoles for whenever I was just standing around and for everyday life, and they felt great. So I suppose my point is that Currex is better for slight added stability but is better for more dynamic movement, while the Superfeet are more suited for major corrections to your feet
