I watched it and some scenes twice and I still don’t get the ending but I still love these old movies

I have a very vague memory of seeing this extremely obscure horror movie on TV when I was a little kid back in the late-60's/early-70's on my parent's old black and white TV. It showed on one of those usual weekly programs - that was broadcast from some local low-budget UHF TV station (with poor reception that barely came in) - on like a Friday or Saturday night, replete with the obligatory horror host who was all decked-out in corny ghoul makeup in his dreary dungeon-looking studio set. I had this solid memory in the back of my head of this weird looking stone hand on a beach at 3:10 in this video upload. Strangely enough, I had totally forgotten about this movie until I had just now inadvertently stumbled across it on RU-vid. It's been over 50 years now since I had first seen it, and here I thought this dumb stone hand on a beach was just some old, weird dream I had about a movie. I mean....Let's face it, this movie doesn't exactly get shown in heavy rotation, like, oh, say....."Creature From The Black Lagoon" still does to this day, which is why I had almost totally forgotten about this.

This film had such an old style feel to it. I would have not known if it was made in the 50's 40's or even the 30's. But it was Big John C. who bought me here. Escalante.

Bruno VeSota (Narrator) portrayed Dave Walker (the fat shop owner) in "Attack of the Giant Leeches" Katherine Victor (Connie's Sister) is best known as Batwoman in "Wild Wild World of Batwoman" John Carradine (The Old Drunk)... was apparently type cast. =)

Seems like a lot of voiceover and dubbing going on . The film looks older than ‘65 too. Still willing to give it a watch, though.

Two movies from the forties made into one in 1965. A bit all over the place and at times hard to follow.

This movie seems to be badly edited or missing parts. Bad transitions anyway. Hard to follow in a couple spots. It could have used a bit more narration in my opinion.

I saw this on Boston TV in the 60s and was creeped out!

No anthology here, just a mess of two movies put together with superbly bad editing. Tried to follow but it was a waste of time as the entire thing really does not make any sense. IMDb gives it a 3/10 rating. I give it 1/10 and that's only because it has John Carradine in it.
