Thank you for this beautiful work. As someone who is fighting stage 3 of blood cancer....I'm glad I found your channel. It's not easy. Plus with the downside of lacking friends the weight of this burden has always been something I'm living with everyday. Life isn't easy...but all I know is there is a reason why suffering and pain happens. Because it's the outcome that prevails. For me the ever constant fight against this has been more like a dance with death. Without a struggle I guess there is no victory.

As someone, who is struggling with emotions (as a result of constant need of being tough and pretending that I don't care), this music helps me express emotions freely when I'm alone. It's such a blessing. I feel lighter. It keeps me grounded and sane. And I don't feel the unbereable desire to run away (by fleeting to another country and cutting ties with every human being or run away in...different way). So I just want to thank you for this awesome mix. It is truly magnificent :)

By burning myself to ash, I returned from there to here. When will I stop reaching for the flame? I´m alone in this prison, that I made my home. They imprisoned me, because they feared me. And they were right doing so. Did I commit atrocities? No. Do I deserve this fate? Yes. It must be, because everything around me dies. I´m not a good human being. In my prison I´m alone and safe. I´m not afraid of the dark here, not at all. I´m afraid of the light. A voice whispers: "Let me illuminate your path..." A body tossed into my prison, held the key to my freedom. The lovers stood before the avatar of death, staring into its evil and selfish eyes, the corpse of their friends scattered and bloody on the ground. Shoulder to shoulder, the man reached for his woman's hand and squeezed it tight. He turned to gaze upon her wonderful and soulful eyes, seeking comfort amongst this heavy moment. She did the same, but when her gaze met his, she was sobbing. With a heavy heart, she faintly smiled at the man she loved. She squeezed his hand tighter even, feeling like her bones were about to be crushed, but she desperately wanted to remember what it felt like to be held by him. Death found her lover first, a strike of the sword swift and precise. As his legs started to give way and he found himself falling to the ground, through her sobs she said "I love you." Their relationship had been brief, they were only but lovebirds, but what she felt for him couldn't be contained by words and gestures. It was grand and beautiful, and these fateful three words should be uttered in another situation, but the woman knew that this was the moment where these three words carried the most meaning. Before the man hit the ground, a smile cracked his lips and as his eyes closed, he whispered "I know." He uttered his last breath, the smile shining on his lips like a trophy. Their love would endure. His gesture inspired his woman to stand tall before the creature, and still holding her lover's hand, courageously embraced her death. As the darkness fell and life slowly escaped her, she could only think about the love that still burned within herself. (Thank you for this medley. It's helping me put into words this absolutely wonderful and tragic moment that happened when our party had a TPK.)
This was well written. I could almost feel their pain from the death, but the love they felt for each other seemed to kind of numb the pain so they could only focus on themselves as they depart. Very powerful and emotional. I may type a similar situation in my book.
As our party's cleric, I've always feared a TPK... I'd be forced to write something on this level of touching, though if it were such, my character and her girlfriend would not be the last ones standing.
i have been really numb lately. i couldnt cry, i couldnt really laugh, i couldnt even show anger. this music made me scream at the top of my lungs, cry all my tears and laugh until i ran out of breath. its like this made me free. i can never thank you enough for this.
I feel so hurt, lost and alone right now I just don’t know how to hold on anymore. All I am after now is to sleep to forget the pain, I wish I wouldn’t wake up.
“At our lowest point, we are open to the greatest change” I hope in earnest that you feel better. Time does heal, so we just have to wait it out. In the meantime, try to do something, anything. Read some books, watch tv, look at birds, eat something good, play a video game, get a new job, anything. Even if it is outside your comfort zone. You can do it, Michael. Pain is never permanent, and you can find ways to overcome it. Personally, I find reading extremely extremely helpful. I also like to sometimes write down my thoughts. Problems on paper are sometimes easier to deal with than in your head. Maybe try something like that? I don’t know you, but I need you to make it through this, so that someone can get to know the wonderful person I have no doubt you are. You will feel joy again, and you will be the joy for others, I just know it. 💗

I'm trying to hold on telling myself it is always darkest before dawn, but let's just say that for the past 5 years of my life, it's just been getting darker. It is said that true strength is found in adversity and I am sure you have plenty. Those who suffer are often the ones who have the bravery to smile and face life and even try to help others, because they know pain too damn well and they don't want others to suffer like they do. That said, life is like this full of ups and down, and you can give yourself the strongest push to come back to the surface only if you touch the very bottom. I was miserable my entire childhood for being bullied and most of my adult life because of an abusive relationship, but those hardships gave me the ability to understand my path and the kind of person I wanted to be and the people I wanted on my side. Hardships are what make us who we are, it's all a matter of perspective and how you decide to answer to these difficulties. Always be positive, don't just try to be different, always strive to be better. I am sure you can do it!

It's the love that goes through the hardest trials and survives that's worth having. But then what do you do when you know you are capable of loving someone, but you are truly weak to the core, when the one person you want comfort from the most is the one who you cannot be with because it is so painful? How can I want so desperately for him to wrap me up in his arms but also want so much for him to leave my side. I felt guilty. Undeserving of his love, because if one day he is affected someday by my absence… Then only he can end all that suffering and unbearable pain that I've inflicted on him. How can I help to heal the damage I've made without showing him how deeply in love I am in with him? I guess that's the irony of love. It doesn’t wait to be invited in, and it won’t be coerced. It gently creeps under your skin, a mild itch at first, not giving itself away in case you scratch it and cause an infection. But then it sinks in deeper, getting into your bloodstream. It travels. By the time it reaches your brain and you’re aware of the infection, it’s already taken over your heart. Love is anything but innocent. It’s a captor, a guard, imprisoning you in the clutches of another, knitting the fabric of your own life to somebody else’s, whether you like it or not. But this is the kind of prison where you are the only one capable of releasing yourself from it, no one else can free you and that is the most painful part for both parties... I say this because it is painful for the prisoner to look into the world, then it is painful for the person out in the world to look at the prisoner. It is only normal that they'd wish for the prisoner to free themselves. I wanted to write to him. Tell him I was glad he was my friend, that he was alive, that he was home and safe. But words to him no longer fit right in my mouth. Words which belonged in his ownership were no longer mine to give. Silence was the only acceptable state my heart would grant, even if he was by my side. He would never know what he missed, because I refused to be truly heard in his presence. All the words he could have had, all the phrases he might have danced with. The smiles which would have been imprinted upon his heart, would never be. And his lips would never be able to reply to the words that I could not say. I loved him with a love that sees no flaws, find no fault, knows no bound. You see, I want believe in hopeless love. Oh yes. I want believe in it with all my heart, though you may discount the heart of a young fool like me, it is as I have first stated; real love brings pain. Real love means sacrifices and hurts and all the thousand shocks of life. But it also means beauty, true hopeless beauty. So maybe its a good idea to write something about you in my book... I think many people such as myself were mildly perturbed that YT's algorithm recommended something with "2-Hour Pure Sadness" in the title.....but as I listened I realized, this is recommended for people who have such a depth in their knowledge of sadness, grief, and the capturing of such concepts in music it's actually a compliment. We, the nearly 800,000 strong, comprehend the Charybdis of grief, the Marian's Trench of heart break, but the ability to mend it in others through that comprehension. We are the chosen few amongst the 7 billion whom have the transcendent needle, to thread back the torn tapestries of this world, though our own be torn.

Today some people celebrate Easter but I feel like I'm dying. I feel like I'm nailed and there is no way out and nobody will come to rescue me. Hope kills sometimes more than defeat. Sad music is such a tough thing to achieve. As a musician/beginning composer, I wholeheartedly believe that the purpose of music is to invoke emotions. Whilst I'm not saying that happy music is easy to write, writing sad and emotional pieces is so much tougher and I'm thoroughly impressed by all of the beautiful music included in this video.

This is heavy emotionnaly of course but when you're physically tired all your body is screaming to get free and as it does your eyes close, droping all the pain away.
My first and only time killing the Fire Keeper was after the Soul of Cinder fight. I thought I would get an achievement, but instead I just felt like a piece of shit. Why must I have these feelings.
I once read a wonderful book were beings descended from level 1 to level 2, and the book describe how much more miserable it. Then they went from level 2 to level 3 - which was a even a LOT more aweful. It was really described well, I can't repeat it. Finally they had to forget their past in order to "take it" to go another level down, because the memory of the higher levels would make it unbareable to live through the hell they came in. Then they were arrived, and the rest of the book was about their live on earth. Also, it described why they went there: to help us to escape the mysery. It was a really special book were it was explained that every act of love or kindness by a single person worked as a multiplying factor (instead of just a drop of water on a red hot plate). Every act of kindness was very important and could be the difference between eternal hell and ascending out of the mysery. That was why they went: to make that difference, because every little bit helped.
Music like this ussually my go to when I feel like crying but I did'nt because it gave me the feelings that I need to feel the pain that I went through. It hurts so much. But here I am. Still holding up.
I have PTSD debilitating anxiety and severe depression and listening to this helps me quell all the emotions attached to those and help bring me out of some rough episodes so I have to say thank you
a ship full of hopeful paladins on their way home from a valiant crusade... The dragonfire burning the armada around them filling the air with noxious smoke and screams as he lay, pierced through the chest by a piece of board, clutching the hand of his student... Coughing and spitting blood, trembling he says " you have to tell the temple what you saw here today, the dragons are back, and they aren't on our side this time.. " his hand goes limp and the boy cries in anguish . Screaming to the heavens and the beating of the dragons wings. The boy looks into the dragons eyes and it looks back into him. A firm hand grasps his shoulder breaking him from the trance " GO BOY! GO! " before he knows whats happening a small box is trust into his hand and he is thrown overboard into the waves... As he sinks he looks up and sees the fireball detonate the ship and his family one by one falls into the sea, charred and dead . He remembers training, playing and loving with them. The ones who taught him all he knew. The ones who told him the dragons were good. He manages to resurface amid the massive sea of floating dead and clings to a charred piece of hull. Looking around at the chaos he pulls open the small box and sees, a holy symbol... With his final act his friend had made him a true paladin.. not just an acolyte , and his mentor had given him his quest. Now he just had to finish it.

This mix has the emotions the main character in my book experiences after facing with loss of her friend. I don't think I could have written that part in such a deep level without listening to this mix on the background.
What I'm writing has a family dealing with the loss of their father, at the claws and teeth of Dark Eaters, demented beasts created from satanic occultist rituals and nuclear war, so I understand that feeling

Thank you for reminding me of these incredible words. It's been almost 6 months since I watched The Lord of the Rings ... I need to do that again, I forgot how inspiring the series is.
There is no pure light in the world; there are no happy endings without sacrifice, every angel falls to the ground once. Only curse deceives our eyes with such an illusion of beauty and grace, at the time, when the curse leaves a humble body of our mortal souls, deep down aside, they will find inaccessible vague emptiness that we have created and embodied to our souls while we were still living on. We tended to believe life is beyond our imaginations, a far beyond existence that we are forevermore not able to discover its true meaning. Although, there is no purpose. Hope, surpass all the feelings aside and creates an illuminate, but still, things are dying, demolishing, ending, then... what is the reason for all of this? And when it becomes endless, immortal, then motivation gets pointless. In our world, there is only fallacious freedom we have created to mantle the existence of our growing spiral curse. That spiral symbolizes a mark of loneliness, emotions with all reserve, faded consciousness ... My sincere friend, life was never been a light, curse was the one with life itself since the beginning! They will be against it, but no matter how sonorous or dramatic they mention it, there is no reality with has a romantic ending! Even the most ornamented lie will always remain as a lie! Being aware of this, do you still trust the hope that has been engrafted on you?
Pain seared through her as she looked upon the sword that was melded into the fire. That sword belonged to her beloved, and it was only because of his sacrifice that she could still live on. Warm tears ran down her cheeks, as she closed her eyes and laid down, she was so tired, all she wanted how was to turn back time and say three simple words to him before she lost him, “I love you.” If only she could turn back time to where she was still young and unburdened by the world. I've been feeling really discouraged, lately, but listening to this helped. Especially "Until the light fades". Music has a way of expressing sadness that really makes one feel understood when one hears it. It connects people, and I am thankful that this mix is here for us to connect with each other and our different forms of sadness.

I wake up to a room full of beautiful trees. Butterflies that are as sapphires. The rays from the sun shine through the plants, giving them a vibrant look. Then I see my younger self in the distance. So innocent and care-free. Not having a worry in the world. His life was perfect. I walk towards him. He turns around and gives me that innocent smile of his. He says to me “You seem sad. Don’t be sad. We’re going to see grandma later today!” I look at him and start crying. “I’m so sorry. I’m so so sorry but she’s- she’s gone” “No she isn’t,” younger me replies. “My mom said we’re going to see her today and open presents with our cousins :D!” I start to cry even more. How did he go from being an innocent, loving boy to an anxious, depressed, overthinking mess. I look back at him and he says “Is everything okay?” “No. No. NO NOTHING’S OKAY!” I scream. Everything starts to turn to ashes. The sky is gray. The plants wither away. The butterflies die right in front of me. Everything. Everything that’s kept me alive torn to pieces. I wake up in the same place. and there he is, staring back at me with that innocent smile.

You feel the soft wind caress your back, you lean into it the soft grass tickles your feet and somewhere in your memory you're reminded of the times you've played here in the past. You're back now pulled away from those times. Your memory snuffed out like a candle and you're reminded of your mortality. Your tattered clothes and ruffled hair, you fall to your knees and slowly inhale. You've been here before, this moment belongs to not only you but... it is personally yours now, you know what it means and as you let your gaze wonder and your hands touch, you realize the arrow lodged in your chest. Its hard to breathe now and you taste strong copper on your tongue.
