@@ElFreakinCid the tough look was purely because of Nintendo of America. They didn't think a cute character would sell in the US so they made him look pissed off in pretty much everything dispite the fact he is a baby

I think his lack of shoes are the least of the problems with how he's represented in that commercial. Why does US media always try to make Kirby out to be super aggressive?

It's definitely a high school. My guess is that it's for a digital media class where they had to make an episode for their school's news program. My school had the same thing and it's the exact same quality as that.

@@George_vv yeah, that's what I meant. often times schools have news programs and sometimes the kids have assignments to make commercials for their school program. Perhaps that student does indeed have a campus flower shop and he was advertising it. It's still a really funny commercial! I hope he got a good grade.

As an argentinian I can tell you that sapito was definitely sold here. I don't remember the specific chocolate in the video but there was another one in the actual form of a toad that I think was either minty or spicy and was promoted as a surprise to whether it was hot or chilly

Your one of those people who are everywhere, but for some reason people don't blow up the replies of your comments.

Specifically, Gangnam Style is about the Korean district of Gangnam and the out of touch trust fund kids that live in it.

I'm so glad someone pointed this out, I remember people making the music video into a meme because they liked the funny dance or whatever, but completely ignored the context of the actual song. A shame really, if I tried to create something speaking about a real world issue or something like that and it blew up because people were laughing at it I would be disappointed that the message was lost. Of course, the folks who meme'd it were primarily from English speaking countries, so the language barrier probably contributed pretty significantly to it😅 I wonder what Psy is up to these days? And what's he think about his song blowing up, but for different reasons than he likely intended? Someone needs to make a "where are they now" series about people who were or whose work turned into memes lol
