This is the perfect clip to get someone to watch Konosuba. It starts like any other high fantasy/Isekai anime, but then it suddenly turns into the good old Konosuba we all know and love, perfect for turning their expectations on their head

And then Aqua casually kills all the drama

"Cursed" or "Blursed" describes _all_ of Darkness' screentime pretty well.

I feel like Darkness is a girl who played Taimanin Asagi as a child and that pretty much molded her sexuality as a teen.

The best part is him coming back later complaining that they didn't try to save darkness and that she deserved better only for darkness to walk towards him blushing.

Darkness is the best anime character I've ever had the pleasure of watching

I just love how this show builds up tension, wanting to tug on the audience's heartstrings......... Theeeeeeeeeennnnnnn it just goes sideways. But it's absolute perfection!

The character designs in this anime are the best

Kazuma: Literally the only normal guy in the group. I feel like he could really turn out to be a powerful character in time if he just continues to learn useful spells. Aqua: Not exactly insane, just has a God sized ego and whiny mood swings. She is actually really good at healing and purification spells. She’d be badass if she had more offense magic. Megumin: Weird and childish, but not full on crazy. She’s literally nerfing herself by intentionally being a glass cannon. She’d be awesome if she just learned more spells for the love of God. Darkness: Good lord. An insane masochist that has little to no accuracy, so even though her stats are good, she’s actually kinda more useless than Aqua and Megumin. Still love her though lol.

Seeing the title: Oh cool! First 10 seconds: Wait, *what!?* A minute later: wait what This is probably how someone watching this the first time feels right about now.

The Dullahan's genuine confusion just puts a nice bow on this scene.

The best part about this series is Kazuma saying “Yes im Kazuma”

Darkness's masochist moments gotta be one of the best things about Konosuba
