I always hate it when the game refuses to give me any scaling for my units. This video was really useful for showing how to deal with that. My only regret is that you didn't inferno out your floor to kill Fel when she had 94 life.
Fun thing about this run: you can actually get the Nexus Spike cave event after drafting the Shroud Mitosis. So it wouldn't be just a Sketches floor with Railbeat + Shadowsiege infusion, you can then dupe that unit an extra 3 times.
Consider backpack battles as a game on the channel. It is gaining in popularity right now and it is an analytical game. It may be a line to bring new people in. Or don't I'm not your dad.
@@RisingDusk Well, my wife would be pretty mad at me. I don't think she'd be cool with me having extracurricular activities that result in RU-vidrs out there.
Looking back at my line again, I can remember what I did. Impish Scholar was also bringing back Packed Morsels and I used Shroud Mitosis to generate even more. Then I also had Feast to eat them early and make another line of morsels. He got like 20/20 of stats each turn with random buffs like life steal and damage shield. I typically didn't have the ember to play both Alloys and just grabbed a second one for shards 😂
I absolutely love how you spend the first 11 minutes talking about how you never pick sketches, but the Shadowsiege is in the thumbnail For clarity, I don’t disagree with your reasoning at all
I feel like with 2 hidden passages, I'd have YOLO'd sketches because trample stone exists in this clan combo and I'm looking for 3 units that count as a hit. Of course I'm very good at this game
A lot of folks yolo Sketches just because it's fun and, if you lose, you can just start another run. I'm trying to win every run first try, which changes my evaluation on decisions like that. Even with the Hidden Passages, you'd still need to draw everything in good ordering and hit at the temples for Intrinsic to avoid losing. If you miss Shadowsiege, your Sketches is nearly dead on arrival, too.
This is a weird game behavior instance, but it does hit enemies first (I believe). If you have a large enemy floor, I also believe it hits enemies 2 at a time for processing abilities. So, yes, I think I'd have made some money.
Sketches is obviously big variance but if you're playing Wurmkin or Stygian it's a lot more reasonable. These 2 clans are just bad for sketches though.
Yeah, totally. The crucible dogs need scaling in their Gorge abilities for one, and if I could just fully remake everything then I'd make Morselmaker and Morselmaster into non-banner units and replace them with more consistent Gorgers or something.
