"Curtains" Hairstyle for Men | Short to Medium Length Version

In todays video we're doing a bit of an updated hair routine, my hair is currently growing out so I can do a long version of the curtains hairstyle, but for now it's pretty short, so this is my take on the hairstyle at my current length. As it grows out, it'll start to look a bit better! Thanks for watchin! -Trevor

Hair dimensions:
Top: ~4 inches, gets slightly short towards the back (3.5 inches)
Sides: around a #1, faded up to around #4
Back: Faded from #1 up to ~1 inch towards the crown of my head.

Same bro kept my eyebrow level curtains and got a skin fade up the medium of my face. It looks similar to this but flatter and a little longer and I really like it. Just waiting till it gets to nose level

I will try this now, I just really cant wait for my hair to grow long enough! Update: it’s been over a year since I commented this and now I have a full ponytail. My hair was shorter than the hair on this vid and never did I ever expect to grow it out really long. Edited again: Almost 2 years since I watched this I can’t believe it’s been that long! Felt like yesterday I tried this with hair shorter than this lol. Now my hair is coming past my shoulders it’s so long haha. Who knew.

@@jackyjo5395well, this was over 3 years ago, from 3 years, i started with this hairstyle, I used to look in the mirror everyday, that was the end of 2020, grew it out for a long time, till about the start of 2022, I was able to tie it back into ponytail, and kept growing it until about march or april of 2023, when I go tsick of it becuase of the maintanence, and it never looked good IMO, then i cut it off and donated it to charity. So I have had short hair now for about a year, Which is weird to think that almost 4 years ago I really wanted long hair, now its been a year of being short. Sorry for rambling.

love this tutorial! only bit of advice i can give as a woman who likes her hair shiny also is to apply the oil after youve blowdried it. if you think about it applying oil to your hair then being exposed to heat it tends to get the hair a bit hotter while youre styling it than it would without the oil. so therefore if you apply the oil after it could prevent some damage over time if youre trying to grow it out :)

I’ve got really thick hair and my curtains sit perfectly without product, I just wet it, make the part and then carefully dry it.

Jolliee Guy you can try curling it with your fingers as you blow dry it, thats how i typically get curls

looks dope, but at least 2 more inches on top and a little more length on the sides would help a bit, but how much, is up to you. it works with several lengths.

Where’s your earring from? Also we have the same exact head and similar hair patterns. I can’t tell if you have as difficult of a crown as I do but it’s a nightmare for barbers and I’ve only ever found a few that can cut it well enough that it lasts more than a week or 2. I bet your neck grows out weird, like the very bottom, I bet it grows in some weird V shape thing and you have to get it cut often. That’s how mine is and we have identical heads. We’re built similarly except I’m probably a few inches taller than you.

I only shampoo and condition every 2-3 days. I use shehvoo in between shampoo days, or only wash with water.
