i came to new zealand on tour with new deal. we did a demo on a ramp at a sports complex in hamilton and a really tight concreat ramp in wellington... i loved new zealand so much i flew back after the tour with my girlfriend at the time....i met a guy called mike smith from the mnt who had just started his clothing company 'rpm' he invited me to stay with him, which i did.. (on and off for 3 years) I was blown away with how many ramps there where.. i skated this ramp the mnt and the one at hamilton all the time but never came across any locals.. really stoked to find this footage ..
I was just thinking i was skating around here at this time, every school holidays, and only never saw anyone skate this vert ramp and only saw Curtis Osbourne skating the Mount one many years later, surprised to see there was a crew of vert skaters here i didnt know about.
Always remember Curtis skating with the Powell Peralta crew down at the Tauranga ramp and with Jamie Capamagian and the boys......classic footage....Heard Curtis is living in Waihi now
