The streets are filthy and dangerous…don’t go out too early or late…poor souls laying in filth on the sidewalks…and we’re on the upper east side…can’t understand why you weren’t voted in last time…you are smart enough and you breath life into NYC.

Curtis Sliwa keeping it real with us! I love this guy. This man is more of a New Yorker in tune with the people than Eric Adams could ever be. I voted for him before and so did my neighborhood (Kew Gardens Hills). I don't want my neighborhood to fall into decay because of crime and the inflationary cost of living. I'm sick of the crime happening every day in the city, I'm sick of illegal immigration, I'm sick of the cost of living crisis, and I wish NYC could stop being a s-hole city.

I used to go to that dinner years ago before I moved back to Brazil. I just bumped into this and saw the whole thing. It inspired me to go back to New York despite all you guys talked about it lol. Curtis is a witty man. I´ll be checking into the channel.

Curtis is the Man. NYC can thank him for the work he did in the early years. I first saw him way back in the 1970s and he is consistence on what he will do. I'm from TEXAS and I know what I speak of, appreciate what you have.

I remember Curtis talking to citizens, there on the street about their flooding concerns. He was with the people. Adams was attending dinners and reciting the same old broken record of broken promises and hanging with the elites.

Curtis is absolutely correct! My parents born and raised in Queens, NY, were Reagan Democrats! The GOP had their chance in 2016 to become more inclusive and blew it. Know your enemy, but also know who your friends are. I was fortunate enough to run into Mr. Sliwa on the street in NYC in the late 80's and have a conversation. My grandparents aunts and uncles appreciated having the Guardian Angels on the street because it mad them safer! I don't care what ethnic background you are, the majority of us want our communities to be safe to live in and raise a family.

I have been following politics nearly my entire adult life. This is without doubt one of the most erudite, down to earth, honest interviews I have ever seen. NYC - stop with the labels already. Curtis is no more a Republican than Trump was when he declared his candidacy. Our system is still a two party show so a candidate has to align with one of them. But if you listen to his ideas - he is talking common sense to all New Yorkers. His command of history, of global affairs etc is very impressive for anyone let alone a potential municipal candidate. He is without a doubt a man for the times in NY. But we all have an expiration date. Get him while you can. Save NYC - you have nothing to lose by giving him a chance. One thing is clear - the current Mayor is not effective and needs to go.

NY had a chance with Lee Zeldin as governor and Curtis as mayor. Crime is the city's number one issue, and no one knows crime across all the boroughs like Curtis Batman Sliwa.

Years ago I heard Curtis and his wife give some valuable information which I have passed onto my daughter and granddaughter. it was for women who are in vulnerable positions like a parking lot at night or anytime you feel someone is watching you or following you. I thank them for that.
