Curved HDR + 144Hz Gaming Monitor?!

I just bought this monitor last night. This was the best video review I've come across yet for this monitor. I'm late to the party on this particular model but I think it's going to be a great update to my current system for a decent price. I've never owned a decent gaming monitor. My current is an LG 3440x1440 @ 60hz and the perceived input lag is terrible, the monitor has a ton of light leakage, and UltraWide is just too finicky for most games. Plus, the VAST majority of content is only available in 16:9 and when it is "21:9" its almost always cropped so I end up with an "ultrawide" image in a tiny box in the middle of my screen with black bars on every side. When the content is right, it's a fantastic way to watch movies and TV, but the headache isn't worth it right now. Anyway, I'm just excited to finally be getting a gaming worthy experience like I've never had before and I am oversharing with the internet. E/N post concluded.

the 32" version uses a PWM backlight which may cause eye problem, 27" version uses a DC backlight, which is better for the eyes

qled isn't just a VA monitor, its specifically a coating for the led backlight to filter it such that more even amounts of each color come out of the back light. Typical LEDs are blue centric, giving them a cool profile when fully lit, qled helps even that out getting truer whites and hopefully reducing eye fatigue.

Response time is pixel response time, and is different from input lag. Response time is how long a pixel needs to change, and is important for ghosting. For games, that's important for seeing details, but input delay/lag is more important. It's important to remember that 1ms does not mean 1ms input delay. When enabling "faster" or "fastest" response time in the settings, you enable backlight strobing. It's a seperate thing, and will help with pixel response time.

There is a game from 2007 that supports HDR, and I love that game. Not sure why the rest hasn't caught up yet.

Just in case u don't know: Nvidia has freesync support which can be applied in its control panel now

I'm looking at this review at the end of 2019 and you know what I still can't find a monitor to match the all around abilities this as at 32inches. They are few and far between. I've looked at the ASUS ROG XG32VQR and BenQ EX3203R but to be honest I think this monitor still wins. It's really sad if you want to game on 32inches and have all the bells and whistles there just isn't that much of a choice at this size.

Recently I got C27F390 and though I have a nvidia GPU, I was able to use it on 70Hz by making a custom resolution settings in Nvidia Control Panel. Played some Forza Horizon 3 with it and it feels really good even though it is a "basic" model. I can only imagine what a pleasure this 144Hz 2ms beast is.

Just got it and FCKING LOVE IT. Only thing tht kinda sucks is the stand. Its sits close to you unless u have a deep deep desk

New chg73 24” just arrived today

I have the the 32 inch and its dam nice. In some ways, it has a better picture than my 4k TV- colors really pop out. Unfortunately, HDR does not work with some games (Mass Effect Andromeda) for windows cause Microsoft are a bunch of aholes and wont fix the Creators update fiasco.

I went to best buy to window shop for some monitors and the guy pulled me to the side and he said that This one was returned because it was too big and that its normally $600 but knocked it down to $419 and that it was the ONLY one left at like 7 stores...I just hope it's available by the time i can get to it :c

Worst monitor i have ever bought the hdr is bad for console... even when u wanna play 1ms it gets super dark inplayeble and greyish if you play hdr.
