Nothing but love, brother. An absolute honour to be able to get to share the stage with you in the end. It's crazy how things worked out in the end, but it won't undo this match being an absolute banger! Thank you for giving me the perfect platform to tell my story. And I'm beyond excited for everything that's next!

Honestly that crit worked out bad for both of you. Aim because it prevented a Moxie Boost on Quavo, and Uzi for the reason you mentioned.

It was an absolute honour to get to tell my story in your league, brother. Knock was definitely the play yeah. I think I gave up at that point, which was a big mistake. Playing for the non aqua step bring/not clicking step choke was the play there. Unfortunate how it went down there, but I'm proud of what we were able to do. Next time? We take it all 🔥

Yeah, it's really too bad. You had actually perfectly EV'd Shaymin to always be faster than Quaquaval. Seed flare was always a guarantee KO (even from full). Watching Aim's broadcast, he actually thought it was over him until you went for the EQ. Plus, he actually thought that crit made it harder for him! I think the lesson learned is definitely that when you think you've lost the game because of some play, you haven't. You've just changed to a different win con.

Saying crit had nothing to do with the end result is a reach. I more than admitted the choke on my behalf with letting Weavile go down. But the fact of the matter is, so as long as Garde stayed alive, that game was guaranteed to be my victory. It dying opened the floodgates and Joey's path to victory. The fault is mine for presenting the situation to him. But saying the crit was not the most important turn is a big reach. But hey, you do you 🤷‍♂️

Also, his duck was scarfed. Meaning that if the crit happened even when Weavile was around, the game would have been my loss. Especially if he locked himself into aqua step. So no, you unfortunately are wrong with your assumption. Garde was the most crucial piece.

First of all, calm down. Second, crit didn't matter, you lost either way cause gardevoir was already too low, it dies to quaval's aqua step and quaval cleans it either way, the only way to win that game was by checking for scarf by either agressively switching in gardevoir in or more safely sacking your shaymin to confirm the scarf, by doing that you get a free kill with gardevoir and have the tools needed to deal with thundurus+quaval. I obviously meant no disrespect to you, losing in your own mistakes is a good thing, it means you can improve on it and maybe feel more calm during the match, it was clear nerves got to you. ​Your prep was as good as ir gets and your early game was flawless for the most part, you just felt the pressure in The end game, it happens. @@TheUziGunner

And also as pointed bellow, you could still win that game with knock off instead of eq(something i didn't take into account), so the crit definetively didn't matter.​@@TheUziGunner

@@Nobody-su9km It seems you are unaware of how custap berry works. Or the set of my Gardevoir at that. Let me break it down for you. I take the sludge bomb, I survive. I chip down Thundy with moonblast. I then switch out immediately, thus preserving my custap berry. Switching out instead of attacking preserves said berry. I sack Shaymin off. I go Tusk. I outspeed and pick it off with knock. Last mon is scarf Quavel. He picks off my Tusk (after taking an EQ to the face as Tusk survive an Aqua Step, since in that sequence, I have no reason to spin like I did against Thundurus T). Meaning that he dies to poison in the 2 turns he attacks my Tusk with. But say he gets a crit with Aqua Step and KOs. I then go to my last Pokemon, Gardevoir. Now, let's talk about HP. It was a 50% chance for him to put me in custap range. Say he didn't with the first sludge bomb or get a poison. Putting me out of custap range. That's bad. Luckily, I have "endure". A move that guarantees my survival to any attack against his choice locked Quaquavel. I take the hit. I survive. My custap berry then pops in the next turn. Custap berry as shown multiple times in this video makes a Pokemon outspeed the other Pokemon, regardless of their speed or speed buffs. The only way for Joey to still outprioritise me would be if he had aqua jet. He did not have aqua jet. Meaning, that my custap pops, Gardevoir outspeeds and Gardevoir moonblasts. So Gardevoir wins. And if he got the roll with sludge bomb or got the poison? That would then mean I am in custap range. Meaning, that the same sequence plays out. Except, I don't have to click endure this time. I just click moonblast on his last mon being Quaquavel and end the game. So that is what I mean when I say you are wrong with your assessment. You are not taking into consideration about the mechanics involved in how custap berry works. You are correct with your other assessments in me choking by sacking Weavile and refraining from clicking knock off against his duck instead of playing for the choke. But you are very much incorrect on your assumption on Gardevoir crit not mattering. Because you speak out of not considering the context associated with the core mechanic behind my Gardevoir's item. I apologise if I came off aggressive with my words, but I don't think you approached this situation as amicably as you intended. Especially when other than your incorrect point about Gardevoir, everything else you pointed out is exactly what I addressed in my video. Regardless, I should have shown more patience. That's on me. Joey completely unlucky in format tho He’s luck on showdown most of the times Even as it’s it wasn’t a luck since both gard and thund was speed tie’ing Either or gard might fueled quaq if Joey put it in range of custap Or killed it if he won the 2nd tie There’s a lot could have happened that turn and many odds from sludge bomb poison to custap range to win 2nd tie etc

@@badsolja1 For context, I likely would have swapped out after the moonblast. Minus the situation with the roll, I would not have been confident about moonblast KOing Thundy, especially seeing how much damage it did. Meaning I sack off my Shaymin the next turn to bomb. I go to Tusk and pick it off with knock since in this sequence, I have no reason to click rapid spin against Thundy. Quavel comes in. I survive a step and chip it down with EQ. Meaning it dies to poison in the next turn it attacks me. And if not, I then go to Gardevoir afterwards and depending on my HP range, either endure into a custap moonblast or raw moonblast for the victory. Unfortunate how it went out and I still think I could have taken it home if I played for Joey's choke. But aye, we live and learn. I'll come back better than ever!

That would get me disqualified. My tera captains for this league are Kilowattrel, Cryogonal and Sudowoodo. As per the rule of this draft league, we are only allowed to tera low tier Pokémon. Hence me choosing them and not being able to terra Tusk in this game for the victory. Hope this explains!
