Just to add it wouldn't do any good! I have been beside my husband raising his 3 children for 9 years. She has never seen them or made any child support payment owes almost 30 grand. Recently tried to force the children through court (a tune of 10 grand on our part) to see her. We stood behind them and had their backs at 16, 15 and 11. She fought those damn near grown children to go right back to rehab. Jesus be with those that are there for the children and the judge to see through the manipulating bs😒

It’s clear to me by watching hundreds of court videos via RU-vid. Women aren’t held to the same standards as men in the law.

He probably won't. Working full-time, as a single parent, without child support, constantly in custody battles; it leaves practically no time, money, or energy on his end for genuine romance. Also, why would a high-quality bachelorette want to come into such a situation? Not saying it's impossible, but his chances are undeniably slim. Objectively speaking, his efforts are better expended elsewhere in life - such as his children. She's almost entirely ruined his chances of finding lasting love, and that may have been the point as much as keeping their kids from him. Not to mention, he's been burned badly enough that he may not _want_ to try again.

I hope he got the children. The tribal courts that are responsible for their community could have made a decision reversing dad's custody or place the children in care. I think they have this power since the ones up here in Canada do. One of my biggest fears when I was a child was being taken away from my non-Indigenous mother by my father and brought to a reservation where my mother couldn't get custody unless she jumped through hoops to do so. I am so happy my bio dad hated me so much that he simply abandoned me and left me to live with my mother. I hope that the tribal court in this case saw that dad was the better fit and worked something out where the children got to live with their father. They very easily could make a decision to reverse the custody agreement in an effort to 'protect' children in their community since they'd want their children to grow up close to their roots as Indigenous peoples.

I also raised both my kids. I had full custody from the time my son was a month old, and my daughter was just under 3. They are now 30 and 27. My daughter lives with me with her two children after their father up and walked out on then with no warning. She went back and got a degree and i became serogant parent. They have been here for 3 plus years now. They are the light of my life and it will be bittersweet when they move out someday.

Yep. My friend had the same problem. In custody court she would constantly say ahe was abused, and there were a TON of texts of her trying to talk outside the family app, have him come over, move the drop off from the court house, etc. (And he was the one that requested the parent app, no contact, and court drop off). The nerve of some people.

@@stacys8729 yeah, it's been an experience. I proposed child and spousal support, using the calculator for our jurisdiction, based on my income (she of course didn't work, for various reasons). A week later she went out of town with her boyfriend, the next door neighbor, 🙄, came home and filed charges. DCF opened investigations because of allegations of violence, found absolutely no evidence of any threat to the kids. She kept playing games, "no you can't be around the kids" the next week I could have them over, etc. This is the same woman who I watched lie to police and judges regarding child support she owed to her first husband (I didn't find out about it till we were together 15 years). She aboabdo6the husband and kids (all kids under 3) and never went back. She's definitely a monster, but I'm mostly free of her.

They're afraid of being abandoned (she kicked one kid out to live with me, the allged abuser) and the other kid is a couple years shy of 18, so still worth some money for now, so she's keeping him till 18, I guess. But yeah, rebuilding my life and my kids has been a journey, but worth it

100%. It's difficult getting text messages admitted into evidence because they can be altered from the app or on the computer. The parenting app is there because it CAN'T be altered. Any person who refuses to use it has something to hide and it figures into the decisions. I think it should be mandatory too.

I heard its like 100 yearly for a membership with this economy its doable but an extra costs on top of all other fees thats why most people perfer to mediation vs involving the courts, fines, etc. Tht comes with court. It amazes me that some men don’t do a test. My late husband finally asked the question when I was about 5 months prego (we were not yet married nor living together) so I said yes I’m 100% sure it’s yours but please have a test; I won’t be offended and I think you’re dumb if you don’t lol. He didn’t do it and said if you say she’s mine, then she’s mine.

I have a friend whose ex is like that, he suspects, but doesn’t even want to know. At least till they are 18 and it won’t matter on custody. Loves the kids, only thing a paternity test would do is make him hate her more. And risk losing him a kid

But if such a test proves that any are not biologically his the it messes up everything and may end up with them being split apart. In this situation it's best not to know

The attorney needs to print out the schedule, and get a copy of when she said that. She perjured herself. This will be good for future proceedings, and as a threat to the so called mother. You can avoid a lot of court with leverage. She is not going to want to go before a judge with proof she lied.

At least I can recoup money thru contempt in my state and blessed that this judge is retiring next month. Thats why I got screwed. Judge doesn't care bc retirement is so close. He's just going thru the motions. Good news is I already have 80 pages of proof for my daughter to see her dad just isolated her for no good reason. Jealous I got married and had twins. Twin sisters that our daughter has never met and she asked for a sister for Xmas 5 years ago 😭

So sorry you're going through that. My boyfriend was the flip side of that. His ex disappeared for 2 years and the courts couldn't find her so he had to find her himself. He finally did and they still gave her full custody with him having visitation. She poisoned her children against him so thoroughly that to this day the kids are still half-assed about talking to their dad. Of course there was a lot more that happened after that. But I feel you, girl. My boyfriend was broken so thoroughly by what she had done that eventually he developed psychosis. I know it sucks having to pay for the reunification but remember that it's all going towards a purpose. I hope that the judge at the hearing gave you your daughter back and that everything works out. Welcome to family court! You can see thousands of videos with clear favoritism towards these so called mothers. Saw one just the other day where a judge in one case lets a mother who hasn’t paid child support in years make excuses but the very next case set a warrant out for a man who had only 1000 dollars in unpaid child support. I swear I can’t watch more than a couple of these videos before I loose my mind. Our family court is a complete joke.

They always did that -- except that historically, it was always fathers who could do anything with their children if they want to. Women had no right to their children even if their husband threw them out, let alone if they walked away. In the last 50 years or so, it's been more the other way. Either sex *can* walk away with the kids if they have the brazen audacity to do so; but it's almost always mothers who do -- even though, when custody cases are brought to court, fathers win about 60% of the time. I think that any parent who leaves the state with the children, without permission from the other parent or the court, has a presumption against them in any custody case that results from it. They can explain to a court why they needed to do it and if it's genuinely a good reason, the court will grant them custody anyhow -- but if one parent, either one, tries to take the children away and the other parent decides to contest, then the action should be seen as a pretty big strike against them if they don't have a damn good explanation. Any parent who already has a custody arrangement that they violate by taking their children out of state should have their kids taken back by police. I have stayed in a state I never liked or wanted to live in for the last twelve years, because my state operates as above, and as much as I haven't enjoyed living here, it was the right thing for my kids to have both their parents living close together and see each of us for equal time every week. I'll move out at the end of this coming June, when my youngest graduates high school, and I'll be very glad to do it... but the court was correct that neither my ex nor I should have moved if the other wasn't willing to go with them. The kids needed us both. Most kids need both their parents. Unless one of the parents is abusive to either the kids or the other parent -- which is an entirely different story, and in which case the courts should get the kids away from that parent as quickly and completely as possible!! -- the default should be joint legal and physical custody, and both of them need to stay within close enough range to bring them back to each parent on a very regular schedule.

She wouldn't get away with that with Judge Paige in Newaygo County when mom sent her daughter to Florida to live with grandma. She made up a bunch of lies about dad . The judge ordered her to pay airfare and the mom said I don't want my 10 year old flying by herself and the judge said call the airline they have people that help them. Then she said she couldn't afford it and the judge said it's either a plane ticket or jail. Mom was collecting child support for 6 months and didn't even have the child. Dad got custody and mom was ordered to pay child support and she said I can't afford it, I pay 400 for my son and I have 3 more kids here I have to take care of. I think she was ordered to pay 300 plus medical. She works at Dollar General 30 hours a week and Wendy's 20 hours or something like that. People who know her said she left Michigan because she couldn't afford child support
