Great slipcovers. I think it would be cool if there was a unique Unforgiven slipcover. I recently got the 4K Blu-Ray of it and I know it did have a slipcover when it first came out, but it was just the same as the normal cover. I meant to get it sooner, but other things came out around the same time and I just now got around to getting it. I’ve seen some other covers to Unforgiven overseas that look cool, but I’ve often thought about a slipcover where it’s like the original poster art but then you take it off and it’s the normal cover would have been nice. But Warner Bros. isn’t a company to do that. My favorite Lionsgate steelbook slipcover they’ve done would probably be Reservoir Dogs where you take it off and you see the cops ear go with the slipcover, which is pretty cool.

I wish more companies would do newly commissioned artwork or reversible artwork even Scream Factory isn’t doing it as much. I still need to get that Reservoir Dogs Steelbook, great design 👌🏻.

Great slip covers, I would have to say the one that comes to mine would be American Psycho, Lionsgate steelbook. I think my first horror movie may have been American Werewolf in London. My mom got Showtime back in the 80's lol. She loves all the horror movies. Thank you for the review.

That American Psycho Lionsgate Steelbook is one of the best ever! Such an awesome idea for the design and artwork. What a great first horror movie and very cool that your mom loved horror movies. My parents hated them so I had to sneak downstairs at night to watch them as a kid.

Howdy Jay, your new movie room looks terrific! The custom slip for Killer Klowns looks great, really suits the movie. I always liked it when a DVD or Blu-ray came with a slipcover even though they're unnecessary. It's the little things in life that make us happy.

Thanks I appreciate it, I’m liking the set up although I’m not quite finished. Slipcovers can be somewhat practical by protecting the Blu-Ray case and artwork underneath. That said the people that don’t care for slipcovers probably don’t care if the Blu-Ray case has damage either.

Speaking about slipcovers, why is it such a issue with the film companies? For example, I purchased Fury Road on 4K. That showed a slipcover upon ordering (online) from Zavvi at $35. No slip on delivery, I was really bummed out. Then a week ago I'm in Target and I see a copy of Grand Torino on Blu ray w/ a slip for $7.99? Sometimes that ca be a little confusing lol. Your thoughts...

I know certain companies don’t guarantee a slipcover after 3 months of it’s release but some seem to be a crap shoot. I bought Unbreakable 4K 2 weeks after it’s released date from Amazon and didn’t get a slipcover. Sometimes for popular titles they re release them with new slipcovers, different artwork typically on the slips.
