Have you found a way to losen the main sliding bracket fot the flash , mine seems harder to move than it should be .

You mean the turn from landscape to portrait. Mine works pretty smoothly and locks. I think it's probably because the flash is heavy

I prefer to use the new RF bracket since it's universal and I don't have to worry about where the flash is at.
