Nice as always, here are 2 ideas I thought of Blue Fairy’s Gift Quick play This card can be activated any time if a card is banished by the effect of Golden Castle of Stromberg. Return all banished cards to your deck and shuffle . This card can be banished from the grave, to negate an effect of Golden Castle of Stromberg. You can only use each effect of Blue Fairy’s blessing ONCE per turn -another protection, from that card’s damn maintenance cost Slay the Dragon! Continuous Spell This card can only be activated if Golden Castle of Stromberg is on the field. Your opponent cannot set monsters or put them in defense. Your oppenent monsters must attack during the battle phase, and if a monster is destroyed by the effect of Golden Castle of Stromberg banish it. Then gain lifepoints equal to the Monster’s attack. -Forcing the monsters to attack, banish them and gain lifepoints
Great ideas! Yeah that maintenance cost is atrocious and I like Blue Fairy's way to make up for it. Slay the Dragon also neat for recreating the forced attack effect in the anime.
Very good effects choice! It always infuriates me how fragile the archetype is to handtraps, so i made a counter protection: Counter Trap You can use each effect of "Castle Curse" once per turn. You can only Special Summon monsters that say "Golden Castle of Stromberg" in their text on the turn you activate this card if you do not have a monster on the field that says "Golden Castle of Stromberg" in its text. - If your opponent activates a Spell/Trap card or monster effect: negate the activation and shuffle it back into the deck. While you control a card that mention "Golden Castle of Stromberg" on its text: you can activate this card from your hand, graveyard or deck, if so, banish this card after resolve. - If "Golden Castle of Stromberg" is in a field Zone, you can shuffle back this card to the bottom of your deck: skip your next Standby Phase. I wish there is a comunity that focus and gather all these ideas to this specific archetype
Since banishing 10 cards is a cost, Forest Wolf can't negate that. So I believe that would need to be changed like: " You do not require to pay the maintenance cost for "Golden Castle of Stromberg". Not sure how it would be re-worded for your opponent to pay half the cost though...🤔
Was the idea behind a card like Wolf to dump the maintenance on the opponent and then some of the protection cards. I think the IRL Castle has the rest of the anime effects.
This had me thinking about the Guardian Archetype (not gate guardian) and how it would have been so much better if their equip cards worked more in sync with each other, but gave bonus effects if paired with its namesake guardian.
