if your archcad doesnt have the redefine boundary from fill option, you can change the following settings to activate it...go to "OPTIONS" , go to work environment, menus, design, curtain walls....add the redefine boundary options there
All of your tutorials are absoultely great :)! Every single word that u use goes right to the point, you don't leave anything behind, it's just perfect, you really have a gift of sharing your knowledge in a very easy, yet comprehensive way. Thank you for doing your videos :)! Btw. maybe a video of your workflow could be useful, for instance the shortcuts that you find in handy in Archicad or some basic tricks that are not so obvious to everyone :)? Greetings from Poland and once again - thanks for sharing your knowledge with us!
I would love to know how to make a glasshouseaddition to a house... when I try the corners get angled and not correct as in cornersquare aligned with the sides..
Great video, I didn't know how to perform this operation, doesn't help that the menu command doesn;t live in the Design menu by Default. With regards to the fill not working as expected, I experienced the same issue. I brought the fill all the way to the front, this still didn't work. I then added an outline to the fill, this then worked.
how i can make it an independent component and then make it fix in floor plan, because the show in floor plan still showing all of the first look curtain wall before it substracted? #sorryBadEnglish
this tutorial video was very good and useful and i really enjoy it and thanks for that but i have one more question you know when we done all this if we try to move this curtain wall to another place or make a copy of it every thing will come back as it was before i mean the whole shape will ruin so do you have any solution for that and thanks again and i will look forward your replay
If you want to move/copy the curtain wall, you have to move/copy the morph as well. If not, the curtain wall is no longer intersected by the morph, and that is why the shape changes. I hope I answered your question.
