The male consultant basically being like "fat girls can't wear fishtails, only a-line dresses" was a bit crappy, really glad that woman had such a supportive family!

On the second bride - the first dress looked so much more flattering (the one her boys all liked).

After the magic of Gok, Jo and Al, these consultants leave much to be desired! That said, I love that this is new content, from a new place we haven't seen. Plus, that 1st bride, exudes confidence in spades, what a confident bride and what a great entourage. Same goes for the boys, who knew to let mom have her way, even if they were not all the way sold!

The second dress didn’t need the additional fabric on top. Once the dress is ordered in her size, the off-the-shoulder top would’ve fit better and could’ve been tweaked in alterations.

A bride should look in the mirror and if she feels gorgeous in her dress, then that's it. She's wearing it, not a stroppy male consultant. I like her entourage - they were respectful in their criticism. Very obvious a lot of mutual affection there.

The second bride was beautiful in the dress the boys picked. The dress she picked, in my opinion, is not very bridal. The first bride I loved her personality and the dress was perfect.

I liked the neckline on Kershia’s first dress and the silhouette of the second. The mom could have tried on a waist length bolero on the second dress for the ceremony and early part of the reception (mother/son(s) dance). I think is was the lower neckline and see thru midriff that bothered the boys.

The first bride and her famiky and friends were sosweet. She looked so pretty in that dress. I think the second brides boys were a little embarrassed she chose something not so modest.

Finally worked out just WHY I find so many of these SYTTD videos off putting & it is that anyone who has since childhood been so concerned about a Dress or Wedding in which will amaze everyone ain't ready for that commitment to another .

Sorry, but this bridal shoppe doesn’t really know how to improve a dress. It’s like the consultants got lazy and then the bride expected nothing better because of her size. I think she’d have been better off going to the Curvy Brides Boutique in England.

It’s been interesting to watch different episodes in different countries and so many different bridal boutiques with so very many different brides-all beautiful. T 9:15 he lead consult here is a rather stuffy individual, a bit stiff in his posture and thinking. Are his attitudes part of the culture he’s from? Just running my fingers here. He doesn’t seem particularly comfortable with his setting. Is this somewhat staged? Is this being filmed temporary filming stage? Or is he just indicative of his culture? Of course it isn’t fair to cast generalities on one culture based on your impressions of one bridal boutique consultant, but some cultures are more open and progressive in women loving themselves as they are, while some are still struggling with the notion. Some cultures are more reserved, others more colorful. I think you could put a wedding gown and veil on Ian McKellen, with a Gandalf beard, and he’d be beautiful! What’s not to be beautiful? Marriage and feasting! Happiness. Shared experience. No judgement, just interesting.
