Yay, longer tail! The tail was really my only gripe with the previous version you did, so I'm glad it was revised. I love the glitter scales, it reminds me of The Rainbow Fish cartoon that I was obsessed with as a kid 🤣

She's beautiful! Great work! °NO SPOILERS° I loved the new Little Mermaid, but what really made it special was a kid in my theatre. Towards the end, I heard a little kid quietly crying behind me, and I just assumed they were scared. Then the kid said something I didn't expect at all. This little voice said through tears, "She saved the world. Ariel saved everyone!" The kid's parent replied, "Yes, she did. She was very brave." I glanced back and saw the parent wiping away the kid's tears with a theatre napkin. The child went back to watching the movie, totally enraptured. I nearly started crying. I finished the movie, incredibly emotional myself now. I watched the 2 of them leave our theatre, a huge smile plastered across the kid's face. Halle Bailey's Ariel became this child's hero that day. Never tell me representation doesn't matter.

I love how the more you make mermaid dolls the tails evolve more. Your mishelle mermaid had a painted tail with glitter flecks & now they are covered in scale seaquins & glitter. You should do a Melissa McCarthy Ursula repaint with some inspiration from your rococo Ursula

The mixed paint was gorgeous and could have been it. Then the scales were so extra and could have been it, but the glitter was perfection 😍 Your dolls are everything ❤

(warning contains spoiler) hey Hex, i am still watching and will comment again, but i just wanted to comment on how awesome that you added the rock mount! There's this beautiful scene where Ariel in the live action seems very attached to this rock out in the water and when the scene of Vanessa pops up and she's in despair she swims to this rock and literally clings to it for comfort and later she is on this same rock at the end before Triton gives back her legs. the rock was literally like another character for me. so it's so nice that it got appreciated it's also like a fusion of both that sentimental rock and the rock in the under the sea sequence combined. it's a great and creative method to reuse props and a super fun way of changing scenery from under the sea to above it. will comment again soon on the new halle doll after watching!

Your repaints are always breathtakingly gorgeous. I love your second repaint on Ariel as she looks so ethereal and mixes both the live-action and animated designs with your trademark flare. I hadn't watched the movie yet, but I heard from people I know that it was good. Even those that didn't like it said that Halle Bailey did an amazing job as Ariel.

I admired how every merfolks had their own unique tails based on multi colorful fishes, fins and all. The scales and fins even went along some parts of their upper bodies. Halle has an amazing singing voice, I just think they should've made her hair more red, as it's part of Ariel's signature feature. This doll's hair is better. HeXtian, could u also do Ursula again pls? But while maintaining Melissa Mccarthy's face, will have Danish looks since Denmark is where the story itself take place?

Oh my Under the Sea, Halle Bailey Ariel doll looks GORGEOUS! I love your first little mermaid doll but this one beats the pearls, treasures, & flowers! (chef kiss) 15:05 maybe you can save the made to move barbie head & legs for another doll project, I still love the seashell bra with pearls so maybe I can try that for another doll project, it's still a great idea for any mermaid dolls. Maybe your other Ariel doll can still have a pink flower but with little bits of sparkle, You did a fabulous job making Flounder bigger & making Scuttle, I love the new Little mermaid top & tail fin, including her sisters I was like look at them fins! As for Ursula the jacket with the some sort of little lights just wow but I hate is that they forgot the most important part her beauty mark on her chin, I had to draw her in free hand. You should do a photo shot with this Ariel & Good Seawitch Ursula! Me: Rarity go get photo finish & your sketch book we've got some inspirations for fashion! Rarity: Already on it deary! The camera ponies work their photo's Photo Finish: Alright Ariel! One last photo darling I want you to give me a big Splash 41:50 like the wave give you shine, like when you raise your voice that your part of this world! SNAPSHOT! Perfect! I've been doing lost of freehand drawings of MLP FIM I did Ember, Kind Sombra, I don't know if I should try Thorax & Discord. Sadly I couldn't find any thought's or idea's on Starlight Glimmer. While looking back at her Equestria girls I still don't like her outfit, I still kept her drawing of her thigh high boots with the star with magical wisps on it like her cutie mark. I still love Twilight's Sorceress costume but I don't know if a redesign of it would work for Starlight along with a silver Unicorn Staff, fill free to share some thought's and idea's if you like. As an ardent admirer of mermaids, I couldn't help but notice certain deviations and simplifications in Ariel's tail and fluke, which regrettably fell short of capturing the movie's authenticity. It was disheartening to see such departures, given that the live-action film showcased a mesmerizingly beautiful tail design that, in my perspective, holds equal significance to Ariel's facial features. I'm interested to see how someone might tackle her sisters.

I don't know how many people noticed, but the new tail design in the film is inspired by the Broadway show costumes! The colors, flowy fins, and side frills were a dead give away for me and I loved that they took inspiration from there ❤️
