I love how you started with "80's vibes" for everything, but that outfit is 100% late 90's. The handkerchief top, the super wide bell-bottoms, the panty/bikini straps showing, the gradients everywhere... It's so 90's😅. I remember middle school, that's 90's

I adore this. I find it so funny that the finished product looks like the perfect synthesis of 80/90 Euro-Asian Cartoon aesthetics- meets x-men’s dazzler.

Its just me or Hextian becomes more and more iconic every year that pass? That house, that outfit, that intro, ICONIC.

I love this version of Lagoona! My only change is that I would've incorporated more seashells and starfish into her look, making her even more beachy.

I love how they all have their own aesthetics mixed in with the OG aesthetic that G1 gave us and honestly I love how much more funky this Lagoona is since she just looks so epic. And the webbing being in blue really made the blue of her legs look SOOOO MUCH better! I really did not get into the doll at first since like you said while making either Frankie or Draculaura (I do not remember which) she wasn't Lagoona BLUE. She was just Lagoona, but you really gave her the Blue back to her name. And honestly. I LOVEEEE how all of the Ghouls have such different heights standing all together... And I feel like Cleo being the tallest is such a perfect thing for her! I am so glad to finally see Lagoona in your style (Also, don't ever feel bad about getting sick in the middle of making a doll like you apologized for in the Instagram broadcast channel, your health comes first since if you aren't in good health, you cannot make such jaw dropping and stunning dolls)

Never been a fan of Lagoona face mold or aesthetic until now. Wow. I know Ghoulia isn’t as much involved now as she was when they first appeared but I feel you could do an amazing job with her goth/rockabilly/Americana vibe. The cat-eye glasses are everything. I really hope you include her.

First of all, Hextian, I love, love, LOVE your customizations! The eye makeup is very fish-like so it totally fits Lagoona and I am so glad you darkened the color palette of her clothing. She is definitely one of the ghouls!

As someone with the exact opposite aesthetic of gyaru, I’ve always been fascinated with the style, like it introduced me to the alternative world so I will always love it hardcore. This is so beautiful and made me like the color scheme change from g1. I love lagoonas original colors and disliked the new one until today, the makeup really sold the pink skin and there was all the blue with the outfit that it worked amazingly. The phone was my fav touch

Oh my god, I LOVE her. All the glitter really makes her sparkle so much, I can't take my eyes off her :D and the black additions looks really great, they really tie the whole outfit together and the gradient helps the jellyfish-split in the pants stand out more!

Wow! I don’t think anybody was anticipating this look for Lagoona-she looks fantastic! I love the 90’s beachfront vibe, though I will admit that the undereye makeup is throwing me off a bit, and I sooo want a full-size version of that phone charm. Very cool overall! Will you be continuing the series? Technically Ghoulia and Deuce were part of the original squad as well, and I’d also love to see your takes on Abby, Torelei, and Spectra. Nefera and Sirena too, but I’m aware of the odds for them 😅. I don’t expect to see this turn into the Hextian Monster High Ghoul-La-La Channel, but it’s hard not to want more when every reimagined MH doll so far has been so gorgeous and reflective of their personalities in a way the basic G3 dolls aren’t quite getting (though don’t get me wrong-I do like the new generation dolls overall). So I’d be thrilled to see this series continue, if only once in awhile!

i remember when we first found out G3 Lagoona wouldn’t be Australian anymore and being somewhat put off,, but when i found out she would be Honduran i was so excited! i never EVER had any honduran representation in any of the media i grew up with. I was lucky to ever find any latina representation at all, so i took whatever i could get,, and when i first found out about lagoona it was so validating, like my culture was finally being seen and given the recognition it’s always deserved
