Vj from blackpearlxk came by the shop to pitch his storage idea he has been dreaming of for the last year. Been watching for a while and I love seeing your biz, etc evolving. Each new project just getting better and better. I know you probably don't have time to share more about your client's rigs and I'm good with that, but it'd be nice if sometime maybe you could post a link to Instagram or FB or ???, so we could the entire vehicle and the other ideas that have been incorporated in them. I'm working up to a used Suburban or Excursion something along those lines…so, I not only like to see what you have done with these larger SUVs but would like to follow the owners to see what Roof-top tents they choose, suspension stuff, Lifts, tires, etc! Thanks for any assistance and thanks for all you do…"Scooter in East Texas"

If the customer wanted the system to be taller im sure. But this was just the design he came up with.

Love it, but don't understand how can get to the area under the fridge with the car charger port.. Looks a bit awkward to get to.

why didn't you remove the old jack compartment? you would get much more space by putting the fridge and the cooking table lower. I have a commander with the same cooler in the same place, and boxes on the right side that I remove to use as bed, but without structure.

Everything was removed and built as low as possible. Did you not see the storage under the fridge and drawer?

The third row seat and jack compartment was completely removed. Most commander owners that remove the third row build a platform to put drawers on top of. So they lose so much space underneath. With this design all the room that the third row seat and jack compartment took up is now storage. I keep all my recovery gear, ladder for my roof top tent, 2 chairs, tools and powertank hose there and still have room for other stuff. And the fridge still sits an inch lower than it would if it was on top of the third row folded down.

Vj Escote I had made up my mind that by removing the third row of seats and the jack compartment, the fridge and drawers could be lowered further, and there would still be a small space underneath. The smaller space below would be compensated by another drawer, always more accessible. You say that the refrigerator is lower than before, in the video it is not appreciated well, it gave me the impression that it was at the same height, hence my initial question.

Nice quality work, Brian. It seems like a shortcoming to only be able to access the fridge from outside. What if you want something while driving down the road? Not a criticism of your work but of the customer’s design.

Majority of overland cargo/drawer builds the fridge is in the rear cargo area with a slide. Unless you have go go gadget arms or have the fridge sit on the back seats you’re gonna have to stop to get something out.
