the thing that always worried about these set ups - is there enough space for you to sit up inside when you are planning to sleep inside with your other trail carry ons ? That's what held me off from trying to set up something like this. i am a short person and in my 5th gen i can barely sit up when i am sleeping inside etc.
Hey mate, great vids, thanks for sharing. I do have a rookie question tho. With those bolts you're using, how do you drill the slider rails on the shared plywood wall without hitting the bolts of the other rails on the other side, if they are both located on the exact same place, only on the other side of that wall. Thanks a bunch!
Thanks for the video I'm using 3/4 ply for decking on my boat, the latches I have are chrome and metal so I'm not sure if they are the same measurement to modify the ring, but I'm glad I saw this so I wouldn't have to return them! I guess we will find out Thursday
How much you charging for that, dog? I already bought a setup elsewhere…it’s very nice and about equal to your height with the storage space underneath, however it doesn’t have your pull out drawers setup. Damn that’s cool!!
Solid video. I have some of your plans for a 1st gen 4runner box. My only question is How do you install the drawer slide on the opposite side without interfering with the first slide?
