Custom Minifig Making 101⎜ A Beginners Guide 

Hi, have tried few different paints on Lego. Nail polish is only OK if it's a very thin or small amount. Much better is paint for painting on pebbles, you can get pens that are one of the best ways I've found. The other is permanent parkers, a pack of 3 in metallic colours is great to add shiny glasses or star of a sheriff badge. Both last well, not tried normal paint so I'll give it a try. Happy Building

Why when making a custom Minifigures people make already existing characters? I never see people paint a minifig intro there oc! I get why people do make already existing characters but it's always starwars, dc, marvle, or a trending movie/tv show at the moment. There is nothing wrong with making already existing characters but I don't see creativity, just a copy and paste in someones style.

Brasso works well to remove Lego Prints and Hand Sanitizer works well to remove paint from Minifigures (parts where you want to start over on)

You can also use nail polish remover and a Q-tip takeoff the print on Lego figures

Lol. Everyone is saying to use apple barrel but here in uk the cheapest you can get it for per pot is like 3 quid which is about 5 dollars and then plus postage. Imma keep lookin. Lastin with citatel atm

Some awesome ideas all though if you use frog tape rather than masking tape you will get a much cleaner edge

tip :while using masking tape ... WAIT FOR THE PAINT TO DRY

Use sandpaper wet the torso and you can remove the print whole if you want

If you don’t mind durability, get bootleg figures that are to scale with the official ones. I’d personally suggest getting ones that have designs that LEGO doesn’t make so that you aren’t supporting a completely illicit brand.
