Beautiful work. When using a tooled leather seat, is there any way around getting the seat all scratched up from sitting on it? Or at least stopping large indentations?

At 3:30 are you lightly going over high parts with the oil emulsion wax, leaving the low parts untouched, so that the dye only stays on the low areas?

I've bought some of that oil emulsion wax so I guess I will experiment to see how it works.

I was wrong. I should stick to leather than oil wax. You should use the Herman Oak Leather.

ATUMI STYLE Thanks for the reply. Himeji: I see it is "white tanned" leather..."A traditional Himeji industry that has a history of over 1,000 years, white tanned leather is the only native leather manufacturing in Japan." It might be hard to find here in Canada. :-(

RobPolson yees! Himeji leather is soft. I think unsuitable for Motorcycle Seat.
