Very cool. When I learned how to install my own HVAC units I learned about the triple evac method for the line sets. I couldnt get nitrogen and a regulator my first go round so I used Co2. It did fine but nitrogen would have been preferable. Then the filter system here is awesome. I just hope we make the great leap to digital night vision soon and you all can keep using these skills to move NVG technology into the current century. You definitely have the customer service aspect nailed out of the park.
Do you offer a service to purge self-assembled night vision units? If someone were to build a BNVD for example using parts purchased from your shop, could they send the unit in at some point to be purged? If so, how much would the service cost?
You can get it purged as often as you like but it’s not necessary. If you notice moisture inside the device you would want to get us serviced. The technician would locate the point of ingress, repair that, then repurge.
I was in the Army and they were "supposed" to be purged regularly. If I remember correctly 6 months for high usage units and annually for low usage units. It's more of a preventative measure. Over 6 months or a year in the muddy wet field, they are exposed to a lot of the elements. A typical owner who had to buy them with their OWN money is going to take care of them a lot better and doubtfully needs purging that regularly unless there is a bad seal. When not in use it's best to keep them in a sealed box (pelican or ammo can for example) with a pack of desiccant inside. If there is a bad seal then the desiccant should help draw it out while in storage.

Okay i have a question, if i wanted to buy a set of elbit xlsh wp tubes but i have elbit xlsh gp tubes, could i use the gp tubes as like a "trade"/ buy in for the wp tubes?
