I remember following this on Retro Rides. It was because of your build that I went down a rabbit hole of looking into buying and converting a PT Cruiser into a van. It really is the best look for one.

seeing what went into the conversion... it had to get a lot worse before getting better! Those weld lines feel like scars and stitches but then you swing it around to wet look gloss. Awesome process. Flipping well done on the boldness and guts,

Nicely done looks awesome. The diesel however, boooo! I'm going to make mine a panel also, but I think I will widen the fenders so they really bulge out like the old cars do. And maybe put in some fat tires and rwd with an electric motor, so it's a hybrid that can do rear wheel burnouts.

what's the basic measurement of the space in the back ? is it more than 6 feet?

NO, from the back door to roughly back of the seats it's only about 170cm. However, with the passenger seat folded forward then there is more than 6 feet for sure, but that's only one one side.

The distant cousin Chevrolet HHR has a panel van version. HHR and Chrysler PT Cruiser are both designed by Brian Nesbitt. 😂

@@AdventuresAutomobiles I drive a 2003 Chrysler PT Cruiser GT turbo. The silver paint and sliver alloy wheel rims make it stand out in any parking lot. The turbo power and speed makes it fun to drive. 🚗 🚘
