Oh my gosh Penelope looks gorgeous! Speaking of My Froggy Stuff, she has quite a few hearts min bags with arrow on it, if you want one for your mini self doll fill few to ask her if you like one. & Bravo Hex, your grandmother would be so proud, you did your very first try on the sewing machine! I can't imagine if you try making Belle's dress by combining the classic & new with the fabric's you have. & Maybe the new Cinderella dress could work as a Birth of Venus vibe, younger Queen Moon from Star vs FOE could wear it, for the third set of fans maybe give them to Cinderella or another custom doll, I am so adding Penelope into my Handmade Hextian binder on the very first Bridgeton page.
"Dearest Gentle Reader, it is in this author's opinion that this doll slays the house down boots. She will surely not be serving crumpets and pouring tea at the garden party, but rather serving looks and spilling tea. Yours truly, Lady Thistlebottom"
gasp!! if he does the queen can you imagine trying to recreate the wig with the moving swans??? (i'm pretty sure it's not really possible, but who knows)
@@HeXtian for another doll idea you could make: lestat from interview with the vampire the series in his rococo dress, specifically the series tho cause movie lestat didn't do that
She's beautiful! And you can see the difference between wigs. She looks younger in the yellow one and so mature and even more beautiful in the blue. Amazing gig when it's still the same face!!! 😮
I haven't seen Bridgerton, but I love Nicola Coughlan from Derry Girls! I hope she gets to see it, she's very pretty and a great actress. The dolls turned out wonderful, the 2 wigs frame her face so differently you can't tell it's the exact same head on first glance imho.
@@HeXtian Not the person you asked, but Derry Girls is the best. So hilarious! I hope you enjoy it. Also your work is always impeccable. I love you got to try your hand at sewing doll clothing. It looks beautiful!
Hextian, the introduction, the details, the sophistication, the drama, the design.... everything.... EVERYTHING IS ART...I wish I had your talent so I can also give the people the drama and art they deserve...I'm in awe...thank you on behalf of all the brighterton fans...
Here's an idea: once the actual dress arrives, pick the one you like the most to keep as it is, while the other one could, maybe, be dyed pink, since it's Penelope's *other* "signature color" You know, just a thought 😆
Listen Hextian mentioning and recognizing Toya is like soooo crazy to me its like my current youtuber obsession and my childhood youtuber in one vid??? Crazyyyyy 🤩🤩
i already know this is gonna be good. her eyes in the thumbnail look beautiful and snow white is a perfect fit for her face. i absolutely love that you made the yellow dress, it looks amazing. :)
It would be very interesting to see your take on Cressida. Her hair and sleeves continue to reach greater heights as the series progresses. Your work often plays with proportion and considering her hair is almost sculptural…Cressida might be a fun character design to play with.
I must say how much I appreciate the effort in the making of the videos. You can see how Hextian enjoys what they're doing, not only in the dolls crafting but also in the whole prodduction of the videos, drag looks etc. The visible passion gives the final video a taste of food made with love.
Her face😭😭, I LOVE her face. She is soooo lovely it makes me a lil emotional. I wish they sold dolls that looked like her. You’ve done such an incredible job with everything. You’ve also achieved exactly what you stated. She looks like the most adorable cartoon version of Nicola.
Gorgeous! I'm so happy to see season 1 Penelope in a properly fitting dress! It simultaneously drives me up the wall and breaks my heart that the character couldn't have a dress that fit properly in the bust (I like to interpret her mother overlooked the proper fit of her gowns as the youngest child, who likely had to repurpose her sisters old gowns).
the way I RAN to watch this video. this is absolutely incredible. Her face is GORGEOUS, it's true that it's not a hiperrealistic portrait of Penelope but you captured her essence perfectly. The dresses are so pretty, I love how you layered different fabrics. The accessories oh my god, they are beautiful and I love your attention to detail and the fans turned out so delicate. The jewelry you used is soooo good, the transition from pearls to diamonds is on point. And I adore how you made a side to side montage while dressing her, it really stood out to me in the editing of the video. All in all, I continue to be amazed by your artistry and am incredibly grateful you decide to share it with us!
may I kindly ask that you consider making a Kate doll? I think you would really pay attention to the details in her clothing and it would be amazing. The actress has such a distinctive gorgeous face and I think you'd nail it!
You didn't need anyone else to make a blue dress for Penelope because you slayed it!💙🩵💙 The yellow dress with the flowers and golden butterflies, it's everything.🦋🦋🦋 Her wigs, her face, you aced the assignment. 😊🏆🎖
Learning how to sew using doll clothes sounds like a FAB homework assignment to give to a baby drag queen learning how to make clothes! You don’t use up a lot of material and you learn the techniques! So smart! And the final product is GORGE ❤ well done all around!!! I especially love the little appliqués on the shoulder/collar of the dress :) great work!
Waitaminute.. I feel like styling the little wigs has gotta be good practice for human-sized wigs too!! I finally know the secret to how your drag is so snatched ❣️
I love love love that you made Penelope! I was so hopeful she would be made into a doll and adore that it was you! You respected Nicola and Penelope so very well. Thank you Hextian! 🩷💛
I was so scared for a SPLIT second when I saw the slimmer Barbie because I'm sure there are a ton of people who - if they had the skills and time - would make Penelope on a slim base doll. I'm so glad you didn't, it heals my heart
I’m so happy that you exist in this world hextian💜 You are definitely here to make such wonderful things with your art. You’re a unique diamond of this season. ✨
New here - the Penelope transformation title is what caught my eye in the line-up of doll enthusiasts I was scrolling through. I have to say I am so glad I stopped by. I thoroughly enjoyed watching your process and your sewing skills are better than you give yourself credit for. I actually like your blue dress better than the one you ordered. I think you nailed it when you thickened up the neck and made sure the twins were plump. One of Nicola's standout traits is her natural look. Had you left the neck thin it wouldn't have looked right and as you said that era of dress was all about the twins being shown off, even the smallest bust can be made to look voluminous with corsets and such. The hairwork alone attests to your patience and mad skills but I have to say the piece de resistance is her face. Watching the evolution as you took her from the standard Disney "princess look" to the final Penelope look was mesmerizing. Even though Penelope as Lady Whistledown has the scoop of the ton she's also an innocent in so many ways and you captured that on her face perfectly. WELL DONE!!! You now have a new fan 🙂 (yes those were exquisite too - the detail you put into that gold fan was top notch!).
The Snow White head was the perfect choice! The sculpt on the cheeks and the lips just gives the essence of Nicola Coughlan 😚👌 This is hands down my favorite project you’ve ever done!!! The attention to detail is insane. Now I’m hoping you will consider doing Daphne and Kate to match her ❤
OMG all of the dresses turned out to be so pretty! And the wigs with tight curls, especially the first one. Never thought I'd fall in love with Penelope's season 1 hairstyle! 🦋💙✨

Both forms of our lovely Penelope Featherington you have captured ever so gorgeously and exquisitely~! 🤩💖🦋 I really enjoyed watching you bring her so grandly to life, wonderful work as always! 👏😊💕xoxo.
Absolutely stunning, I think you did fabulous on every aspect of this doll. Her gentle face, ample bossom, the wigs, the dresses, the deliciate little fans. Shes stolen my heart!
What a stunning interpretation of the beautiful Penelope! Nicola would absolutely love this if she saw this! You are truly talented…well done! Anna UK. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️🌹
@@HeXtianyou’re sewing skills are so amazing for a beginner you really outdone you’re self she looks like a beautiful Disney Princess animated out of her own movie
I’m more of a fan of the original book version of Bridgertons, but Penelope was always my favourite character and I do think that you have done her justice!!! Bravo!!! ❤️❤️❤️👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Happy that my insomnia kept me awake so that I could discover your amazing channel. It has some many things that I LOVE to do and things I LOVE like the Regency, Edwardian and fashion throughout the history of the different time periods, what they ate, what they did during the day at the different economic levels, where they lived and especially what they wore and how the clothing was made. I have always felt like I lived in a different time and that has really made me want to learn more about the different periods. I have always loved sewing all art forms and crafting things out of nothing as my husband has said repeatedly over our 34 years together. Dolls have always had a special place in my heart and I have made a few over the years along with making their clothes and dressing Barbies and other fashion dolls of different sizes. I started sewing scraps of fabric to make clothes for them and our Wishnixes starting when I was only 3-4 years old. My older sisters taught me how plus I used to watch Mom as she sewed various pieces of clothing for her 8 children. By the time I was in high school I was sewing quite a few pieces of my clothing I wore to school and else where as well. So I can't wait to watch more of your videos and learn from you. Thank you for sharing your talent and skills with us. 😍💗
She turned out to be gorgeous and the dresses are stunning and perfect for her. If the actress sees her don't be surprised if she contacts you to make one for her.💛💛💙💙
As a doll lover/prospective customiser who's extremely intimidated by and was never able to use paints well, artists like you who focus more on pencils and pastels give me hope for my own potential. Thanks for showing us your work
Unreal talent. Thank you!! I hope you'll think about doing even more historical costuming.. it's such a pleasure to listen to a designer describe their process!!
I am in AWE of your talent and skill! She looks amazingly like Penelope! I prefer the Penelope in blue, because the yellow makes her skin (on the actress) a bit sallow, but somehow on the doll, both look beautiful!! Great, great, GREAT JOB!
Dearest gentle reader , it has been observed that perfection is more achievable than one might think it is best of our interest that we award this artist the due credit he deserves. ❤❤❤❤❤
i dont know anything about this show but omg, the sheer craftsmanship on this doll is soso inspiring! i really love how the dress turned out, maybe your grandmas gene activated there because it was insanely good for a first attempt!! 🥺 such a fun watch overall ❤
You truly went Hextra for Penelope, and it paid off many times over! The dresses, the wigs, the fans, just everything you did ❤❤ You now having sewn two amazing dresses is the kind of character development I love seeing!
Pen! I love her, and as always your craftsmanship is impeccable! The fans are adorable, especially the yellow one. Would have loved for the 3rd dress to be green tho (a ginger in green, how groundbreaking), as that's her signature color after the glow up in the books, and a mix of Penelope yellow and Bridgerton blue.
I may not watch Bridgeton but this doll is beautiful and stunning I love the dresses you’re sewing is amazing and beautiful the accessories is beautiful and she’s a beautiful doll Penelope looks like a Disney Princess
I think you did justice for the incredible job that the costume department has achieved in this production. I hope there's a 'Colin Bridgerton s3 (HeXtian's version)' on its way👀
I love the Bridgerton and I’m obsessed with this Penelope doll with her two looks in the series. You did an outstanding job great replica of Penelope. I loved every look hands down the bestest accuracy of the portrayal of the character.❤😊❤
Bravo!!! Bravo!! You hit both dresses out of the park!!! She looks totally amazing!! I just watched Bridgerton lastnight, and your Penelope is spot on!!! Kudos Girlfriend!!!!🥰🥰🥰
