When working on classic cars, it's rare to have a pre-cut pattern to work with when installing PPF. This video shows how much work and skill goes into just doing a custom front install for a 1973 Pontiac Firebird Formula.
But it's certainly worth the effort, this muscle car is a badass resto-mod with all the aggressive sexy curves of the original body but driven by all modern gear.

These are have been ahead of it's time back in 1970. They are beautiful proportions curves in the right areas and the scoops are gorgeous. You can I been in love and had one. I love the how you all build this car. I'd be affraid to drive it. Its off the wall. :- )

@@bespokepaintprotection1308 * Thank you! Yes is was. Numerous coats of Pearl white with a touch of gold essence, three coats of clear coat, and white Landau top. Original white interior. And the build is, too much to list. 185 plus on the Colorado highway with room to spare. And yes had to pull over due to a highway patrol officer. However after a short story on how he got his job and his 57 Chevy, remarkably he only gave me a ticket for 65. Set up for rally. My ex roommate wrecked it, while borrowing it to fix a minor dent. Had so much fun in that vehicle. 💖

to me, this is the best-looking body styling they ever did to date, they took the lemans ques and thinned stretched and leaned them out, it pays homage to the g.t.o. of the late '60s early 70's. whit out the g.t.o . there would have never the T.A. and without the EPA, these cars would have been way better. set up right there a dream to drive. quite the mental'gasim as an experience. but right here in freedom land, you got no you can't do that, agencies, that serve no other purpose other than to shit on your party time and crap all over whole industries. and keep people in the unemployment line. you can't say fuck regulatory agencies enough.

Love the craftsman ship on your PPF install. Well done. Can you shed any light on the car? Who/what company built it? Extremely interested in seeing if they might do a similar but different one.

Yes Outstanding job! All the sharp angles couldn't believe it was possible. Plus, the build on that firebird was also over the TOP! A real six-digit car.

Good point. With all the modern stuff in it I got my wires crossed on the model. Luckily the PPF can't tell the difference. 😁

@@bespokepaintprotection1308 it has a formula hood with trans-am spoilers 👍 Because it doesn’t have the trans-am fender extractors, it most likely is a formula model.
