Loved the convo. How nice your machine has a drop in bobbin that lays on it's side. I have an old Bernina 1001, and the bobbin goes in from the front, like a wheel on the road. Hard to do now that I'm old & arthritic! 😊❤
I sometimes do assembly line style with quilt blocks if I'm in a swap and I know the exact feeling you're describing, the difference is I often struggle with that push to finish even though I'm so close but there's not that satisfaction of seeing something done after all the work so far and I get put off 😂 Also adjusting tension is so finicky and a headache and it's awesome you have a machine that's set right for certain stages of your process, huge win!
I got your postcard!! Brigid is a lovely name and I'm glad she fits right into the family. And yes the tension was a big win. I hate adjusting it because it's way too finicky to be worth it unless absolutely necessary.
