I'm sorry to miss the live but glad I could do some latenight sewing with you!! That's exciting news about Sassy Dragons and I find it hilarious that it led to turning the tabard into a bib, lol. A project I've been wanting to FAFO is a bag or pouch specifically sized to hold some folded reusable bags so they aren't strewn about and I remember to take them into shops with me.

Temu has many decks. Most are small. I've ordered the same deck from Amazon and Temu, and the Amazon deck was Huge! I prefer the smaller decks. But it all up to the person. 😊
I didnt end up sewing a shopping bag 😢 I ran out of time, but I definately want to try doing a bag like the 'its too peoplely' bag but unsure how to do the bottom ... meaning the wide purple bum on it. "Unkink the hose" 😂😂😂😂
The wide purple on the bottom is easy enough. You just add a piece of a different color and line it up in the middle. The the rest of the look happens automatically when you finish and box the bottoms.
@peggysews Im so sorry for the questions 😔 is the purple peice just one layer of fabric not layered/sandwiched like the rest? And the middle ... did you mean the middle seam in the bottom. OMG I must sound so stupid 🫣
I used a slightly different technique to make the bigger bags than I did for the little giveaway bag. I used one large piece of fabric instead of 2 smaller ones. There was no need to connect two blocks so that seam isn't there. I just used one big one. I cut the peopley fabric in half and added the purple to the middle. then it went together just like the little sample bag I did and the bottom dropped into place on it's own.
I love all the bags. Sorry to hear about your leg... I know! I'm doing a tarot holiday bag in crochet with my handspun yarns, from both my spinning wheels which is nice and a lot of fun to do 😊😊
meh leg is something I'm used to, so it's just a short term pity party that ends soon enough. I love seeing crochet bags. I wish I had the patience and the skill for it.

Hi Peggy, Sorry it has taken me this long to get back to you. I as of yet I have not seen my sister again but will be seeing her on Friday of this week. I will tell you all I have been told and fill you in with what she tells me on Friday. I know the lady it happened to.....hated the hangover of stigma that came with it. People not believing her etc. But my sister said she was one of those people who would have been embarrassed to make things up and the lady only mentioned it because she was sick of people talking about Fly saucers ( well thats what they used to called back in the day over here). At the time, in the lunchroom the lady would hear people joking about it, and discussing If it UFO's hey were true or not. Due to it happened to her young daughter at the same time it was happened to her. She got feed up and bit their heads off staying it had happened to her....this was followed by tears from this same lady. She then felt silly and Embarrassed for speaking up. She felt like she was going to be spoken about behind her back as crazy or a nuttier. Any how I will find out more, and get back to you...I also know my sister had light over her house one night years ago and explained to me how strange it was when I saw her that day . Only then later that day finding out that there had been UFO siting in her area the night before on the radio. Strange but I am a believer. Never had my own personal experience with anything. I’m U.K., so obviously I have zero say, but I’m really hoping that RFK Jnr makes it to the White House because he is such a breath of fresh air and he really wants truth to out…. They don’t like that! 👀 I like Shawn Ryder’s channel here on RU-vid, he’s spoken to Steven Greer several times and he interviews a lot of ex navy seal, delta force operatives and they’ve really let some stuff out. This one particular interview he did with a man was quite powerful. He explained how he was asked to do a job, he was escorted to this building but made to keep his eyes down at all times, he saw things which he did speak about. I wish I could remember the middle part of the story how his dad was involved but he was never able to see his dad again, or communicate at all with him. His dad lost his son, his business, home, everything. So i do believe that people are ‘exposed’ off one way or another under circumstances….. editing… ok, I have to go find out, it’s DC Long underground encounter on Shawn Ryder’s channel, in case anyone wanted to hear his story.
