If you’re wondering why I don’t just use Mr Super Clear when it’s arguably the best sealant- It’s not available in South Africa, unfortunately. I’ve found a few local hobby shops that sell MSC Gloss, but nobody sells the Flat/Matte, and aerosols can’t be shipped to me directly. :'( Though, I think I found a good alternative!
@@DollyAnna I love seeing others who are getting into this hobby, I've just started myself and I wish I had the ability to make videos because it's something I'd love to be able to do but it's great fun seeing others progress
@@Monica_bondevik Aw, don't worry! Oneday you'll be able to make videos, too. You can also take pictures of your dolls, maybe post them on Instagram? It's a great platform with a big doll community too😊 But as long as you're enjoying the hobby and it makes you happy, that's what counts most!
@@DollyAnna I'm currently part of a doll customising page on Facebook and it's really fun to take pictures and see other people's work. I don't really have much money though and don't know where to start with being able to film my creations, I wish I could do it now as I'm making a series of dolls based on seasonal spirits after making a jack frost doll I just have no clue how you guys set up for recording
She looks beautiful.I love her eyes so pretty.I absolutely love her new outfit too it’s really pretty .I don’t do dolls due to arthritic fingers, but I am a an amateur artist .Can I suggest you watch some of the top doll creators on here.They will show you easy ways to make patterns for your dolls .You will find them in the search engine on here. A lot of them are really good even do patterns for handmade clothes.But you will see other ways that they paint and sometimes completely change their dolls completely .Will your skills I am sure you will go a long way ..And most of these use Mr.Super Clear Matt for coating between the layers.It’s a good base on the whole doll and layers well without cracking.But that may be because of your inexperience.Most layer as soon as the pencil does not seem to lay down as well.The Mr.Superclear gives it more tooth then so they can continue.Drying time is approx 20/30 minutes too.Most use a minimum of five layers doing the face..Hope this helps.It will make it quicker and easier for you.Poppen Antellier is brilliant on faces..Ettelan not sure I spelt this right is another great one.Fabulous clothes and accessories and doll.Dollydelightful both doll and clothes.and a lot more.But if your like me I like to learn by watching how to improve my skill ,not copy as I have my own style lol.but I learn from others about how to draw eyes ,mouth,etc as I am just learning how to do fantasy portraits ..And I am old enough to be your Grandmother lol..Always learn new things in life it makes your brain stay active and it’s so nice to know and learn new things..Love and Light 🥰

When the sealant i use gets sticky, I have found wiping it with regular alcohol and letting it dry in the sun helps. Beautiful work...she turned out great. 🙂💜
Ooothis is good. My first doll is a mini me, and I am struggling with how much to make a doll ‘look like’ me. Thanks, make it ‘feel like’ me. That helps!
I think that's what's most important! I like to choose certain aspects that relate to me, but I don't think a Mini Me has to be a complete copy. As long as they feel right, that's enough🤗 Thanks for watching!

Aww that's okay! Hehe I think it's possible to import it through some sites, so I might try that when I run out of Mr Topcoat. But for now I'm pretty happy with MTC hehe
