Terry The Kid Sick video I want to get a bike as well just saving up for one. It would of been nice if you inserted some links to everything you bought online in the description section. But overall awesome vid.
@@jovanvilla7454 I had that all listed but i was finding that people were buying the same stuff and coping my bike exactly...which i don't want. I want folks to be original. If you have any specific questions, please feel free to ask...you can also check out my instagram @tlh235...i have pics of all my mods (which there are many more now) with explanations on each. I plan to make a new video soon.
Really admire the work and thought that was put into this overall. Just ordered my bike. Probably going to scratch some stickers off and add some others for the battery cover. I haven’t gotten my bike yet so other mods will be pending based on personal preference.
@@agawdsparadise2927 and i seen people can add a tracker on it too. so i really think only people who really know what they are doing could steal this thing and get away with it
On the battery, wouldn’t it be easier to take off the base of the battery, tape the base up, put it back on, then paint it. By taking the base off, it will be masked really well. Doing this will protect the batteries during painting
The batteries are attached to the base. removing the top allows you to spray it without masking off anything. There is no need to paint the base. I'd rather paint something without having to mask off anything if i can. But whatever is easier for u.
I saw a motorcycle vid that showed how to add a bar-end mirrors to a bar-end turn signals. also there are bicycle brake lights that I believe work similar to shoulder strap seat-belts in cars - using, I assume, an internal pendulum that swings forward durning deceleration ( less hook-ups and wires ). and maybe check out youtube for " programmable bicycle wheel lights " for the front tire, creating some serious night-time bling. both of the bikes you showed look amazing. the headlight housings, painted battery covers ( with decals ) and custom seats are perfect ! I can easily foresee third party custom shops following your lead.
God bless you for all the details and good taste man. Just got my s1 and will be customizing similar to you because I really wanted that cafe racer style also
@@tlh235 Sounds good! I'm going to be doing something similar to your bike but have some other ideas... Thinking of finding someone to fabricate a rounded metal piece to fit behind the seat, sort of like some other cafe racers... Going to look into a matching sheet metal cover for the battery as well... looking forward to your future mods!

nice vid andsuper nice bike. wouldnt some LED-valve caps be more siphisticated than the wheel lights? also a counter-weight could make sense to avoid the wobble you can see when you fire it up.
Pretty cool mods, I have the same rear foot pegs on my super 73 Rose Ave. And my girlfriend rides on the back and use them she weighs about 110 lbs. She doesn’t stand on them like you said just to rest her feet on
@@tlh235 Thank you, just found some 45North Pedals i had stashed in my bike room and they just so happen to be black and red, these will definitely be going on my Original. Thanks Again.
Fortunately or unfortunately (for my wallet) I have discovered your channel. I am planning to splurge and reward myself by getting the new flagship for the Super73 RX... and am going to use your channel for inspiration. As a sidebar... I'm digging the garage tiles...I think those are the snap on one's correct that fit like a puzzle? Very nice.
Man too bad there's not a centrifugal switch on those wheel lights.... that'd be awesome for them to light up as you were in motion and then turn off automatically to save battery life.
@@tlh235 your two bikes are amazing, I have a super 73-S1 too, but not modified yet. I just ordered the custom seat from hipofighter (especially because it's longer than the original one )
Just outta curiosity would that battery fit in that bag below it?? im curious cause if you buy an additional battery that would be a game changer for longer trips a response would be much appreciated love the bike
Stevie C it would, but you can always attach an extra battery to the bike also as many people have. Also a backpack works for an additional battery. I tend to carry my charger in my bike bag. And when i stop to eat or something, i charge my battery also.
These mods really made this look like a motorcycle! Have you ever been stopped in one by police? I'm sure lots of police officers mistake it for an actual motor bike!
FYI: The company still wants you to get the bike professionally assemble and tuned even if you can do it yourself or they WILL NOT honor the warranty. Read the fine prints people.
Man this was excellent, thank you. And your editing and talk work is great man, haha, please do make a series of videos of modifying a new Super 73, maybe one with the bobbies triangle seat?
Do you have some sort of custom plate holding the light in place ? Idk how you were able to put the original screw in there ? The one it comes with droops too
djpinkpanties15 on this aftermarket headlight there is a screw that goes horizontal and vertical. You have to tighten the horizontal one to keep it from moving up and down. Then tighten the vertical one that fastens to the bike.
djpinkpanties15 its not steel. They are just chain-stay protectors that i cut down and put around their to cover up the white super73 letters. They have a carbon fiber design to them
Andrea Di Basilio i know of other people that have connected multiple batteries which produced more speed. I the end how much power are u looking for. You can prob get more info on super73.com
Eric Smith Eric Smith not sure what you mean by slider. You mean the pegs that i’m using as frame sliders? I have the list of items in the info part of video.
I have another question. For the footpegs, I screw them on but it doesn't seem to screw on all the way. Did you add any washer or have a difficult time screwing them in all the way?
Hey, I also got some 8mm pegs and they fit really well on the right side. On the left side, however, the peg rubs right up against the main power line that leads to the motor. Did you move your cable on the left side where the peg attaches? Thanks!
Terry The Kid Thank you, also could you provide the link for those wheel lights? I’ve looked everywhere. Can’t find the ones that are in a tube anywhere...
Terry how did you mount the light to the frame or did you use the light compartment that Super 73 provided? I am looking for the bracket that allows the light to be mounted to the frame. Thanks
could you send me a picture of how you mounted the light. I bought the same one as you. if you can I can give you my email. Appreciate any help. Thanks
Nashville Mortgage Trever Vassar if you want to check out my instagram, i have alot of pics and info on my mods for the bike. I can also DM you any specifics there. @tlh235. My bike has went thru more changes since this video.
My man!!!! Beautiful stuff you did here, I am in love with these mods you made. Do you know how many of these will be able to be applied to the S2?? Thanks for the video!!!

“I did this. You do this. Only this. Nothing else but these. Let me explain 5 different ways about how you should do this while repeatedly saying you should do it” This is cool and all but I feel like you could cut this video in half if you down the unnecessary rambling lol. Regardless of that though! Pretty amazing customizations man!
unfortunately most of my skill is in the customizing and not in the public speaking...first video made in this regard...appreciate the feedback though.
Jerry Dean i took the links down as too many people were copying the bike. Plus the bike has been changed up quite a bit. Check out intsagram and look for a new video soon. @tlh235

Sid Patwa alot of my stuff has changed since this video. U should check out my instagram. @tlh235. These are the smaller mirrors. And the grips are soft enough. Wanted something leather to match seat.
Tell’m Something Joe instagram.com/p/B2znezggkta/?igshid=1bg6k21brz39n sorry thats the best i can do. Removed the parts links as i don’t want a bunch of copycats
Matias Nagore the bike has some metal pieces already on it for wire management. Other than that, i use different size zipties for alot of stuff on my bike.
@@matiasnagore8111 i'm pretty sure its standard for the bikes as with electric bikes, you are going to have cables and wires...i can only speak for this version of the bike though. They know you need some places to zip tie wires to. If you email them direct though with question, they are pretty quick to respond. Great customer service for me so far.
