Combat awareness, + godmode so the person you execute doesn't pop smoke and you're just stuck there losing half your health while stuck on execution. + it saved a lot of time for the devs.
@jumbazii and money, fp animations were very expensive, and look at all the executions, embarks, and titan executions Titanfall 2 has, lots of time and money
I have an idea for a Ronin termination. Imagine, it slashes open the enemy titan's cockpit before impaling the titan's midsection with the sword. Then the pilot disembarks, slides down the length of the sword and takes out the enemy pilot, before jumping to re-embark as Ronin cuts the titan in two through the waist. I think it's pretty cool, but it might be difficult to animate. Just subscribed after seeing this video, I'm loving your channel!
Very representative of the different titans! Atlas is utilitarian so it helps the pilot to kill the enemy Strider is nimble fast and efficient, he goes right for the kill Ogre is strong, fearsome and brutal forcing his actions and literally crushing the opposition
I miss the first person terminations and enter + exit animation it made it feel like you were there in the battle and that's why Titanfall (1) was amazing
Hey I have idea for an execution with scorch. Pressure cooker. Scorch punches the enemy Titan weapon out of their hand, blocks an retaliation punch while grabbing the offending arm in the process. Then proceeds with the other hand punches the enemy Titan cockpit, once inside it uses Flame shield in the process cooking/melting everything inside the Titan. Once fully cooked tosses the Titan carcass to the side like nothing has ever happened.
The terminations really showcase what the different classes are about. Strider with its speed and agility, Atlas with its more can do everything but isn't best at anything deal (couldn't find the word) and Ogre with its brute strength. Good job
Ogre was always the brutal one in TF1, whereas Atlas and Stryder just crushed or Yeeted the Pilot. Ogre tore off both arms from the Titan and used one to bash the titans head in
First up, you're doing a great job, keep it up. Secondly, you wanted a suggestion for a Tone Termination? Well, here is my idea. Hailstorm: Tone blasts the opposing Titan's shoulders with his Tracker Cannon, disabling its arms, then launches the Salvo Core straight up into the sky, potentially blocking out the sun. The enemy staggers backwards, until Tone launches the Sonar Lock projectile at it, knocking it over, before the missile swarm descends upon it. (Yes, I know, the Salvo Core is essentially laser guided, not depended on lock on, but it is still some nice attention to detail to perform a complete lock onto the opponent during the termination.)
That ogre one was very well done One quick suggestion, add blood effects on the persons screen that’s being attacked. If it’s just clear when the person gets stabbed or punched, it looks like nothing happened to him. Also, add more shaking and disorientation effects when the ogre pulls the guy out of the titan. Great animations. Very nostalgic
Idea for scorch: disarm enemy titan (if you wanted to make it a battery steal: pilot jumps to other titan takes the battery)'meanwhile' scorch reaches back for a flame trap and punches it inside the cockpit (pilot jumps back from enemy titan) ignites the flame trap by flame wall, flame shield, thermite launcher, or even a fire star. Also love the terminations.
No escape: scorch uses flame shield to melt open the cockpit cover, leading to the pilot, he then sweeps the leg and makes a firewall when the pilot tries to escape, melting the pilot. (Different ending to the termination in the termination animations video before the last one.)
I've got one for ion. Uses lazer shot to destroy both legs get the enemy titan on there knees. Then smashes hand through the top hatch and crushes the pilot from the inside.
Idea for Northstar battery theft if you’re still taking ideas. Northstar tethers the arms of the enemy Titan to the ground while the pilot gets out to steal the battery, enemy pilot opens the hatch to try and fight back but Northstar cluster missiles the cockpit. Hover-jet assisted kick as the cluster missile finishes cooking off to finish the execution, as the pilot climbs back inside. For Tone, the use of the hard light wall would be interesting, like activating it and slamming the hostile Titan against it.
idk a name for this northstar execution and if its already used but northstar engages in a fist fight with the enemy titan and steps backwards everytime the enemy titan tries to throw a punch, then northstar flys up and lands onto the enemy titan. then the pilot opens the cockpit and aims an anti titan weapon at the enemies cockpit then fires it off
Ik this is late but a little suggestion maybe when the pilot got shot for atlas termination have a green screen blood effect or something else to show their injured but other than that great video
Tone fires two shots into each knee to weaken the Titan's stance, then Tone kicks the Titan in the chest, forcing it to fall onto it's back. When the enemy Titan tries to fire at Tone, he pulls up his wall in front of himself and fires portion of his Salvo core at the downed Titan to finish them. That's what i thought of, hopefully it's worth of consideration
IMO there should be atlas, styder and ogre executions for all the titans. like monarch has her two base finishers and the new "vanguard/atlas" execution where she rips open the cockpit and you get out and shoot the pilot. i just thought that would be cool lol
if you ever get to scorch, here's my idea (its my only idea for a different titan execution) scorch grabs the enemy titan by the hatch, lifts it up and slams it down on its back. then, with the hand still pressing down on the hatch, it turns on the thermal shields and just melts through the hatch until is finally gives
I have a execution idea for ion: She charges towards the titan and knocked them down on there stomach, then she pins down the titan by putting her foot on their back, then shoots her laser shot at one of their legs and rips it off, then she walks up in front of them and throws her trip wire between her and the titan, finally she grabs their arms and pulled them to her wire with great force. Boom... Just an idea I think would be cool to see
Said it on the Jacknife as well: Tone (and prime) cave in leg with a kick, three shots (needed to prock lock on) into the main chassis to blow off body armor and expose pilot, then unload missile payload. New one: Jam 40mm cannon under hostile titans arm and fire a however many times your willing to animate before shoving hostile Titan to the side. [EDIT] I am SO glad that Ogre termination isn't in tf1 because that'd be damn scary
I’ll admit I do prefer the the first person executions more then the third person ones. Their just powerful when you do them and so terrifying when they happen to you.
