Day 1: Today we installed C9 Tru-Tone Christmas lights around the perimeter of my house. using Tuff Clips for the bulb holders. I used Classicolor and Jeweltone Bulbs.

We love your sparkly garage incorporating the twinkle bulbs. Twinkle bulbs are high on our customer requests, but nothing compares to the magic of incandescent twinkle bulbs- and using a few mixed in won't impact your energy bill much. Shooting lit bulbs, and especially LED's can be real challenge- great video. Thanks for taking the time to share your creative efforts here Jaystus!

Got my Tru-Tone lights a week ago. I love them and they are spot on to the vintage incandescent lights. Worth every penny. Nice vid the lights look good.

I'm part of The Tru-Tone Family now! 🤪💡 Mine arrived earlier this week. I ordered some ClassicColors, JewelTones and CandleGlows---but C7's for now. Of course, I absolutely already started "playing with them" indoors and adoring their alluring beauty 😍 I'll eventually put them up??? LOL

Living in Florida, and the blue jewel tones didn’t last very long. But realistically mini light blues never seem to last outdoors. Report back with this the opaque ones survived the sun vs the clear ones. Yours around the garage are a lot more protected compared to mine on the gutters where they basically get full days sun

Yeah, jeweltone blue and magenta faded last year. Green and red on my gutter seemed to be fine. I’m curious how the opaque does. I Iove the clear look

I can’t understand why an architect would make the garage the prominent focal point of the house by having it so forward and the front door buried off to the side. Love the lights though.

Where did you get the gutter clips and rubber seals. My old bulbs would always corrode since I had them pointed up. I don't know you could make your own cord length like that.

I got mine from Christmasdesingners website. But I think a most online Christmas stores have them. I’m really hoping the gaskets help. That’s what others have told me to do.

@@jaystus thanks I'll try the gaskets out this year. My Tru tone bulbs came yesterday and I love them. I got, green, red, orange, blue and purple. The only one I don't like that much is the purple. I might replace that one next year and add jewltone to my garage like yours.
