I love that even if things don't go as you planned, you carry on and are still inspirational. It gives me the confidence that everything doesn't have to be perfect 😊

I’ve been covering these composition notebooks for many years. I’ve branched out to notebooks of all brands and sizes now. Depending what brand and size, on some of the smaller ones, if the inside is plain, I simply fold my 12x12 around the edge and create a pocket inside the cover that way. On these specific composition notebooks I sometimes cover the inside front/back with white card stock, then proceed as desired. To add interest to the inner divider pages I sometimes fold a couple pages down on the diagonal, glue them together, then cover them with my pretty papers. Belly bands, ribbon, seam binding, buckle type flaps that close with Velcro dots or magnets are all ways I’ve made closures. The creative ideas are endless. These are great at stash-busting and make great gifts as well. I love watching your tutorials as I always pick up some great tip. Today was using washi tape on the edges…. 😊. Thank you!

Maybe a smaller eyelet to hold the elastic or glue it down with a ribbon bow covering the glue to make it pretty. Lovely little journals. I have so much patterned paper i don't use enough. Need projects like this. Thanks Ann. 🤗

Love how you keep crafting real Ann, unexpected things pop up for all of us. We make mistakes, or under estimated how much paper we need, etc....But you carried on and made it work. Love that! Your book came out beautiful, especially for the first one that you ever did! Hugs, Brenda

It may not be quite what you envisaged happening but I'm sure we have all run out of paper the right size on a project before. You made a great recovery though and it turned out really lovely. The random stamping is also a lovely touch :) xx

Turned out great! Such gorgeous paper. I cut my cover papers 3/4" larger than the composition book, and wrap the excess to the inside. Then I use black card to line the covers. Makes for very finished edges and stretches your pattern paper a bit farther. Thanks for your wonderful videos.

You have inspired me to have a go at this note book crafting. I was unaware that it even existed. You do real crafting and not the polished shiny impossible to achieve rubbish that is out there. Your ingenuity and practical knowledge are truly amazing. Whenever I try out your projects I always get a good result. You aren’t pushing product at us all the time. And everything I do buy from you is good value and straightforward to use with my considerable stash of goodies. Keep up the brilliant work.🤗

Wow thank you!!! That means so much as that is genuinely what I hope Comes across. So many channels are just about buying overpriced dies to make one card!! No one can achieve these perfect cards either. It's ridiculous and it's not what crafting should be . Xxx

I love doing these composition notebooks. I use them as my daily journal. i have monthly calendars that I glue on pages as well for each month. As I do not write in it daily, it can last me 2-3 yrs. But I do love decorating them & making the pockets. Be well, be safe & TYFS

Hello, Ann. I have been watching your tutorials on my larger tablet, which for some reason does not allow me to comment. I always give you the thumbs up though. I want to let you know that I have been watching for the last week or two, and you have become my absolute favorite to watch! I just got my achine today (smaller than I thought, but just starting out), and my die cuts should come tomorrow or following day. I can hardly wait after watching you. Of course, I see that I will also need to build on some supplies. I hope you will get my message because it is so important to let people know the positive impact they have on us! How pretty you !ake things, hoe creative you are! Take care with God's blessings always. 💕.

LOVE this. I've covered books before, but never heard of doing the divider part, great idea. if you run out of paper pad, sometimes, it can be just as nice when we use something that doesn't match, adds interest😁 I'm going to give it a go. Thanks for sharing another great idea 😊

What perfect timing. I purchased several of these composition notebooks. I must have watched at least a dozen other creators on YT make them. But your explanation and design was the easiest to understand and the most beautiful also. Very labor intensive, but not really that difficult the way you showed how you did it. What a blessing you are to all us crafters. Thank you and God bless

Gorgeous paper Ann! Maybe you can add another two dividers in a solid color and use your remaining patterned paper as accents (like the pockets)? I am so impressed by how you just start cutting with scissors without measuring! I need to be more fearless in my crafting like you. 🙂 Now that you've done one, I bet the other two books will be even more glamorous because you'll think of more and more that you want to add. Absolutely LOVE the subtle birds and butterflies! And I appreciate you sharing with us! Janet 💖💖💖

Hello from New Zealand……..It has been a few months since I have commented only because i have been out of commission for awhile, but I have watched so many of your amazing videos and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE them all! I could not let this time pass though without thanking you for creating this spectacular video with the composition book. It is truly lovely and can be so very useful, so now I cannot wait to make one of my own. I am going to check our local stationery warehouse because if I remember correctly I believe I have seen composition books there, but I want to be sure to find some exactly like the ones that you use. If I cannot find any I will come back and check out your link and then I can purchase a few on the link to get me started. Ann, also I have been wanting to say this for a long time to you that I just love the way you are so meticulous about each thing that you create. It has taught me many lessons I have to say, and the thing is that each one of your projects come out picture perfect which is a great result of you being so meticulous, and each time I make something now I am just following your queues. It certainly pays off. Being that way, so kudos to you for all of your paper etiquette if I may say so. By the way I was watching a few of your videos over the weekend and in a more recent video you were saying something like you were away but you did not even know if you really wanted to come back, so I was taking it that you may be rethinking whether you wanted to continue making videos etc. Perhaps I took that the wrong way, but Ann you are such a unique treasure in papercrafting and it would be absolutely just awful losing you on the Internet. I know that people have to choose what makes them happy, but honestly I know you must change so many lives on a regular basis. You have certainly changed my life and I wanted to thank you for that from the bottom of my heart. But please know that I am as grateful as can be from all the things that I have learned from you, Ann. Hearing you speak with your precious UK accent is also such a pleasant treat for me. It makes me just want to sit down and have a cup of coffee with you you whilst watching you create another mind bending project. Another thing Ann which is really quite cute. I watch you on my iPad while I am sitting at my dining room table. Often times my husband is working outside in his workshop in the garage and comes in the house every so of while I am watching one of your videos, and as he walks in he always says,”oh how is Ann doing today? He always immediately recognises your sweet accent. And often he will just grab a chair and come over and watch the video along with me. He always tells me how clever your are, and I always answer back, “this is what I have been trying to tell you for so long.” So he never minds. When I purchase craft papers and supplies, because now he can so relate to it, so I thank you gratefully for that too dear Ann. Well I won’t keep you now, but I have always wanted to send you a longer letter other than just a small mere comment. I have so enjoyed chatting with you here this morning. It is Sunday ( Easter Morning ) here New Zealand time, and we both wanted to wish you a very lovely and Happy Easter, Ann….and I hope you will be around on the Internet for a very long time. Hugs from Patti and Malcolm in windy Wellington, New Zealand. XOXOXOXO ❤️ 🙏 ❤️ 🐰❤️

You could take your pieces that aren’t wide enough and cut them into strips and do each side in patchwork strips. It would still match because it would be some of the same paper, just pieced.

Hi Ann! I want to say I really enjoy ur videos💗. Ur altered composition notebook came out so pretty. I know u wanted a third divider but ran out of paper the size ud like so I thought maybe u can do a patchwork of the different papers so that u can have ur third divider? I think it would look pretty & make quite a unique divider. Also u can just untie one of ur knots in ur elastic & still add ur charm then retie ur knots. Just a thought, as I’ve done that myself on a small laminated travelers notebook. I’m looking forward to ur next video. Have a blessed rest of ur week😊. O, I live in Vegas & hope u enjoyed ur time here. Crafty hugs, Donna

Brilliant I Love it ! I have little mini ones I'm going to do this to. For the tabs I take a 2" circle punch punch out circles fold in half then each side cut out a little bit. They look like whale tabs. Tim Holtz has Beautiful wide fabric wasi tape for not too much money. I think you will Love and I'm sure there are ither Brands also. There are videos on this .Thank You Again ❤ oh I'm surprised at how little glue you use. Is that because it's book binding glue ? Thank You 😊

Hi Ann, I love your videos, and find them inspiring I especially like your great ideas for using the laminater. I just can't get my head around why would we cover these notebooks? I can understand making a whole journal using those beautiful papers, which can then be stuffed with personalised creations. Just me I guess.
