I grew up in my grandfather's upholstery shop. We only did antique furniture. 47 years later I do custom aircraft interiors and concert tour bus interiors. I really appreciate your craftsmanship. Merry Christmas
Hi Steve, I have watched every episode you have uploaded since 2020. I am in such awe of your skills, patience and dedication to your art. You are head and shoulders above the crowd in my opinion, and in today's disposable, instant gratification world, you sir, are a true artist. I particularly like your touches where you share coffee time with friends and are very proud of your heritage and your family. Keep them coming dude. Much love from a very ardent fan in Johannesburg South Africa.
Wow 🤩 I’ve got to say I would never trust any other artisan for quality work. - The man is humble, speaks to you on a real level and is not only a professional, but a perfectionist! -I called him for something small and gave me advice on a real level without being arrogant or trying to charge me, but assisted me with his heart. -Thank you for the history of your immediate family shared as well, have met numerous Armenians here in the Houston greater area and one in Dubai and all except 1 ( Nizar’s Fine Jewelry) have been nothing, but warm and genuine people, unlike like blood-thirsty Turks. -Thank You Mr. Bedo-
Thanks for the tour of your family photos… you have a beautiful family. I work in Basel, Switzerland and one of my co-workers is from Armenia. But now he lives with his family in France and commutes to work in Switzerland each week.
Merry Christmas to you and your family Steve! I want to wish you a fantastically successful, joyful and peaceful 2023. Thank you for all the laughs, love, passion, skill and entertainment you share with all of us! It brings me a great deal of joy, and I am very grateful! Lisa P.S. You Dad was a pretty stunning looking guy! You are too, and just tell your wife if she reads these comments, that this compliment comes from an almost 64 year old woman!
Steve I so appreciate you creating a logo with your Dad. What an awesome tip of the hat it is. Great work Great video as always. Merry Christmas to you and your Beautiful family 🙏🎄👍
I love your films ,Steve, thank you. I bought a pair of shoes at the start of my 6th form (age 16) and by looking after them, was able to wear them at my wedding (aged 38!) My father (ex army) taught me how to deal with shoes and I have tried to pass that on to my sons(only time will tell!). Love what you do and teach. Thanks.
Thankyou for sharing that at the end brother, as a fellow cobbler and son of immigrants our stories are an example of how far hard work and grit can get us. Glad to know im not alone out there.

Happy Holidays Steve!! Best wishes and a restful and joyous Season to you and the family. And PLEASE enjoy what we ALL KNOW is a much deserved rest!! ♥️♥️♥️👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Steve, it's nice that you have great photos of your ancestors. You also have two handsome boys and a very pretty wife. You two look happy in the photos not just smiling for the camera. Wishing you and your family a holiday season filled with love and happiness and also health prosperity and continued happiness in 2023.
Dad looks like a movie star man. I think you should make your own lasts n shoes. Shame everyone smoked and didn't really think about the health repercussions back then. I think your shoes would do very very well.
You should get your sons to pitch in and teach them to mirror shine for you on those occasions when it is a customer request. GREAT JOB. MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR.
Great video Steve, thanks for sharing your family photos. Back in the days when just about everyone smoked as they worked. Merry Christmas Steve, all the best!
Thanks so much for sharing the family photos Steve. I love that you that. Pop was a handsome man. But Great Granpa with his Fez and wicked stash is just so bad ass. And of course the wonderful work you do. I really enjoy your vids. Merry Christmas to you and yours
hi steve, marry christmas. i'm now in AZ so i don't think i'll be dropping into visit again. i was watch rose anvil and nicks boots are making some custom boots in colabration with rose anvil and your name was mentioned about your excellent shoe repair. your name and the brothers in tennessee were also mentioned. all three were mention in the same sentence. love your work steve. i haven't been working on my combat boot that u resoled. they are definitely black but just not to the spit shine that i want. when i get them finished i plan to send you a pic of them. best of luck steve.
Steve is the highest quality cobbler out there. The most expensive as well...but...the very best. You get what you pay for...is just the reality in life. Saw a video the other day on Wyatt and Dad...where Allen Edmonds had changed out the welt so many times, without using the same holes...the leather upper busted out at the seams. The shoe would have been better off...just not being re-welted. Something I didn't know. I mean...I always knew AE wouldn't re-sole more than 3 times, but I never knew why. Now I know why. An independent cobbler, when re-welting a shoe...will re-welt by hand using the same holes, therefore not causing damage to the upper. AE uses a machine to re-welt, and the machine likely will not hit the same holes...making the upper Swiss cheese, and ultimately...causing the upper to split...beyond repair. I considered next time I send my AE's off to AE for a re-sole...to ask them NOT to re-welt. It turns your shoe into Swiss cheese. Edit: And to be clear...Wyatt and Dad was not disparaging AE. He was simply explaining WHY the shoe had blown out. Wyatt and Dad...is another cobbler I respect. Good work from both Wyatt and Dad, and Bedo's.
