The Dragon collaboration BJD Dragetarr Salvador customizing project inspired by deal dea lionfish and ocean creatures. So much fun collaborating with other artists on this project. 3D printing, hand sculpting, painting, crafting and gluing made this project possible with resin crafting and printing.

God I love doll customizers. It’s never just simply “I painted this doll! :)” No, it’s “I rebuilt this entire thing from the ground up and involved 5 different kinds of artistic media. Oh and ALSO painted it”

Oh my gosh Eliza he turned out so cute, love his little face I thought the back eyes would be intimidating looking but its makes him all the more adorable ^^. Would love to see more enviroments it's so soothing to make (I only made one for my bee doll) but its really great for storytelling in your customs

God it's so gorgeous 😭😭😭I love everything ocean themed and you picked such an amazing fish for inspiration! The bright pink markings give me Lisa Frank vibes 😂 I've been debating getting one of these cuties for a long time but somehow yours was the deciding factor. I can't wait for it to arrive 😭

Oh my Gosh this is beautiful!!! What an elegant base doll to start with, and your design direction was so strong too! I adore these color combos and all the sparkly little details! And that face plate looks like an Axolotl combined with a Flight Rising Fae dragon. ADORABLE!!!! This was such a great project!!

Wow!! So creative, unique and beautiful! I hope you will do even more fantasy type creatures. Even if it's just to be pets for your dolls. Imagine a mini dragon, unicorn, or something else in a handbag like the small dogs some people carry in their purses. I sure that would probably be too difficult, and frustrating, to work on something so small though. As always I'm in love with your work. Just incredible.

I love how moonlight, enchanterium, dollightful.. etc.. all show support and shoutouts to other artists. They show so much respect for everyone’s personal opinions and decorating styles it honestly makes me love them more! I find I watch them more than others that refuse to acknowledge other artists. Also, how they admit they mess up at times and are willing to show it all! It shows they have personality and enjoy bringing others up. ❤️ I love this community 😂❤ sorry just had to say that.

So obsessed with this doll! The colour palette is so fun, and the translucent elements bring so much wonder to the doll 🥰 Blue Pixie did such an amazing job with the 3D sculpting, and the finished character is just breathtaking 💕

This came out fantastic! Big fan of the clear resin features. I saw NorthOfTheBorder use clear silicone to make a large water feature for his Squirtle sculpt, and I think something like that would look great with an aquatic dragon like this :D

so stinking adorable. it is good to step outside the comfort zone and do something new every now and then. it keeps the inspiration flowing and maybe in the future you could make a doll version that is a friend or human persona of the dragon.

Wow this is super pretty!!! You did an awesome job!!! I had a thought. I know dollightful is busy having a baby and settling into parenthood which means she is not apart of this callab but it would be cool if she could get one of these dragons for when shes back. Maybe you and her should do your own special collab where you get another one of these dragons and she gets one and you make one for eachother. I mean shes already done her dragon series turning dolls into dragons but I would love to see her do one of these dragons and would love to see you do another of these dragons you have some awesome talent there!!! Anyways I think that you captured a lion fish really well in this dragon bjd I absolutely love lion fish they are so beautiful 😍 I literally clapped for joy when you revealed that the dragon was going to be based on a lion fish you are absolutely amazing!!!

I love it!!! So glad you’re doing some non-humanoid customs :D Also, the front legs looked a bit strangle because that joint in animals usually faces the opposite direction. Like they bend towards the body instead of away from it. Luckily it’s just posing, just wanted to let you know (also it’s a bit of a pet peeve of mine haha 😅)

Yes, much like people, back leg joints, or knees tend to bend forward, but front joints or elbows bend inward.
