Cut Test: Microtech LUDT Gen 3! 

I used to have a Microtech LUDT in CTSXHP. Made in 2018. It was thin behind the cutting edge. It was 0.008- 0.009” range. It was blue aluminum and the blade had a bronze coating.

Love mine ,,, handle could be bigger, blade is great, softer spring is good , gen 2 hit a bit harder Great addition to the pile of knives i dont need but have to have

I have maybe one of the oldest version of the Microtech L.U.D.T. made in USA in 2017. This knife is overwhelming and I use it a lot till today, from 2017 maybe sharp it 3 times, the steel is Elmax and I'm glad of it.Also was available in M390 and CTS-204P steels.

Actually, it's Gen 3. I think Microtech meant that those UDTs etc starting from Vero Beach period were gen 1, the ones with fluted handles were gen 2 and these newest are third gen
