Some of the restaurants allow you a take out container to fill for a certain price. Just ask your nearby restaurant what their rules are. Each one is different!

Bill Pinkney They said $7 a person for lunch. They didn't specify whether or not they paid for the other meals they took. It is an all you can eat buffet. Not an all you can take buffet. I doubt they paid any extra because they're cheap, and the host of the show made a comment about the Chinese restaurant filing for bankruptcy. Although I'm certain the Chinese restaurant didn't file for bankruptcy, why would they make that comment, if the family was being fair towards the restaurant? I don't like cheap people because they rip people off for their benefit. It's not honest. It's not right. I think the difference between cheap and frugal is whether or not you cheat your friends/family and businesses for your benefit, vs getting the best deal. If they're the hope for America, you guys are screwed! I spend probably less than them on groceries every month because my cleaning supplies/paper goods and toiletries are all eco friendly, reusable and cheap.

Rob O'Connell You're probably right. They do prepare for those people. They prepare for it by charging everyone else extra. It kinda pisses me off. But whatevs. Not much I can do about it.

We bought 3 or 4 meals and paid for each one of them. We took them home, cooked our own rice, and had enough food to feed our family of 7, we weren't trying to rip anybody off.

Violet Tippet Their smart, however... I just didn’t like the part when they go to the Chinese Buffet and get all u can eat and take it home. All u can eat means... at the restaurant not take home!!!!

Miss, this is the issue for a lot of people. Once you develop a list of meals you can cook to draw from, it's easy peazy! Don't give up, we know you can do this! And once you do, you will never want to go back!
