Beginner Needle Felting Tutorial for a cute little bunny is our topic this week, a free tutorial for needle felting a sweet and simple bunny with a string jointed head, glass eyes, long ears and simple "add-on" armature for arms and legs.

Our emphasis is on firm shapes that will hold up to handling. Our model bunny is 6 years old this year...he has been handled hundreds of times and in and out of storage - err...his bunny den! :)

Thank you so much for this. I doubt I will ever make fully felted ears again! I always find I make them too big and they are not equal. The pre-felt works a treat. I felted the eyes in as I don't have beads, something else to add to my supplies. :)

Hello, I just wanted to say Thank you so very much for making this bunny. I was able to make one and had never done it before. And he was so cute well received as a gift and has a new home. Wanted to let you know the eye lids trick is the best REALLY makes such a difference. Today I am making another but thought to start him on a pipe cleaner so far I just have his head bead eyes I did with thread, and around his nose the black thread, so I will just build his body on the lower part and of course like you did for the front paws and feet with the pipe cleaners. So Thank you, this, is really so fun and nothing to be afraid of trying. I get back to it now, I will keep your site bookmarked.
