Hi sweetie, because the body area are all connected and there isn't any separate sections for the legs and body. I want to create that "creases" look on the body area eventho they are all connected, and you can only create that look by adding the outline first and then filling the inside area after piping the outline. So it depends on the cookie design, if you separate the legs and body then you don't have to pipe the outline first, just fill the legs first, let that icing crust then fill the body to get the defined separation between the legs & body. Hope that make sense? 😊
