Yes! This is also why I advocate for species-appropriate shelving and climbing opportunities! Hamsters LOVE clambering up and over various levels and will make excellent use of them, but lots of people still only offer flat terrain. It's amazing just how active such a little critter can be 😊

Watching these videos makes me feel really bad for the hamsters I had growing up. My ignorance made their little lives terrible. No, it wasn't on purpose and I was young and we didn't have the same information then that we have today. It doesn't change the end result that of those poor little hammys having too small a cage, an obnoxious child keeping them up during the day, and not enough enrichment. I'm so glad there are creators that can now promote a healthy way to keep these amazing little animal companions.

I was really happy to see how much speed she was able to pick up in it, her old one wasn't as smooth moving so she would only run in short bursts. Now she can run to her hearts content 😁

What an awesome home for her, I am very curious as to how often you have to change all of that filler, ie bedding and such? Do you have to remove all those intricate pieces to do that?
