I had such a blast today with the kids! So many cute moments and just a ton of fun! So many of you were asking for the recipe to my potatoes after I made them on our Valentine's video at ‪@themillerfam‬ and Amanda and the kids were so pumped when I said I was gonna make them for them! To the people offended by the word adoption. This means that child is special and chosen. Every child is a gift. Some chosen by God for us and some chosen by us with God's guidance. A long time ago Dear Abby posted a poem for an adopted child. "Not flesh of my flesh nor bone of my bone yet still miraculously my own. Oh my goodness! Lincoln’s words are so clear 🥰 I’m rewatching the adoption stories bc I think they are so precious, and seeing how far he has come is unreal! So dang amazing ❤️ The way Lincoln stares & laughs at you while you sing to him in the car is adorable ☺️ once your girls start dating, they can show them that video of you boxing and you’ll never have to deal with a broken heart. All of those kiddos have the best protection between you & Amanda ❤️❤️❤️

You can still put the garlic with the skin in the mincer! If it's a good mincer the garlic will come out perfectly minced without problem and the skin stays inside. Just take it out afterwards. Try it!

I've been making those pan fried garlicky potatoes for a few decades now... Thanks for reminding me how they are SO good! I have to limit my potato intake because I have potassium issues, but I still make them occasionally in small bunches. I have an 8" antique cast iron pan that makes two perfect servings.
