A friend of mine recently taught me that onions and potatoes shouldn't be stored in the same space (e.g. basket/drawer) because it makes the potatoes spoil/sprout more quickly - veryyy random but I thought it might be useful information 😊💌

My daughter is one of the people who puts things away wherever she can find a place in the cabinet. Then later she has trouble finding it when she needs it. For baskets and other small drawer stuffs, I have seen here on RU-vid quite a few organizational videos that are cheap and inexpensive. A lot of them go to a dollar tree, Family Dollar or if you have it there a 99 Cents store.

Love how you organized your pantry! Just a tip if you put onions close to potatoes they'll mature faster, I had a big problem when i was living with my boyfriend because we store onion and potatoes on the same shelf and the potatoes started sprouting roots super quickly then my friend told me to separate them and after that I had no more problems with potatoes. You are a big family so I supposed you eat a bag of potatoes way quicker than me and my boyfriend but I still wanted to let you know about this!

Thank you for your video! It gave me some new ideas. Potatoes will go bad if stored in daylight. They stored much better in the dark cool space. They should not be stored with onions. Generally all root vegetables stored better in cool space.

Please use containers instead of plastic bags. My family uses Tupperware brand to store all of our snacks and for lunches :) They clean their dishes from their lunch boxes too. There are tons of documentaries out there about climate change, one that I recommend to watch w the fam is “a life on our planet”. Great movie night with older kids and amazing story & cinematography.
