Gaming figure collectors rise up! Besides OCs, most of my collection is figures from video games and JRPGs, so this was a great video! I have little free time these days, and besides drawing I don't have much time to both watch anime and play games, so my time gets dedicated to gaming alone. I just love how detailed JRPG character designs are, I find they really make their figures stand out by being so decorated :)
I love Ryza's design, but I do admit there's a lot of figures for her. I'd love to see some of the other Atelier protagonists get some love. And I have more figures/preorders of her than I'd like to admit 😅

Klee was the first character I pulled back in 1.0, after seeing gorgeous it was I just immediately paused the video and bought it! Yikes impulsive decisions, no regrets. Loved the video as always :)
There's already a prototype from WonderfulWorks for Atelier Ryza 3! 😆 I've been eyeing that Klee figure for a while now. I saw it a local convention and really liked it! Hope I can add it to my collection soon~
1 minute in and gaming taste is S tier bruh, xcom 2 is definitely somewhere in my 10 games I’ve played and Frostpunk is so engrossing when you fully get into it & immerse yourself. 🔥 taste! i ABSOLUTELY LOVE the 9s figure by flare! i had been waiting for a 9s scale figure for so long since we were getting 2B figures every now and then i was just waiting for the moments someone announced a 9s figure. and when they did ohmygod my heart was so happy 😊 needless to say i was so happy when i found out it would be flare doing the 9s figure so he would pair prefectly with 2b and hes honestly one of the best figures for me! and the fact that you can find him for cheap now-a-days is such a good deal for a great figure 👍🏼
I love playing free otome games on my phone. I so wish some of the male characters had figures. There are some awesome designs especially the characters that are part owl, wolf and cat. There are vampires, devils and androids as well. It sucks that there aren't many handsome male figures.😔 I saw some nice resin statues but they are expensive. I think I will get some of my favourites pictures printed so I can put them on wall at least.
I am salty about the Klee figure, I preordered mine in July 2021 from a shop I often bought from, paid 304$cad. But the person who has the shop now stopped responding and closed their website, so I don’t think I’ll ever the Klee figure I paid for…
I didn't know some Japan-only releases actually have English subtitles! Is there a good way to check/find out? And any other recommendations for Otome or Visual Novel games that didn't get localized, but have English Subtitles? I am literally addicted to them, I pretty much play every Western release regardless of what they're about lol!
If you Google there are a lot of "master" lists of all games so you'll just have to search the titles to find the VN's, but unfortunately I cannot think of any Otome specifically that were Japanese exclusive releases with English support. Not enough budget for that 😅
I've been waiting for my Klee since March... ordered her as soon as I saw her on Crunchyroll's store and she's been delayed multiple times (currently delayed until October). I'm so glad you have her, she's such a cute figure!
What a great theme! :D I have the second game ver of the Ryza figure and she really is stunning, she tilts back slightly so needs to be on a lower shelf is the only thing I'd say. As for playing it, your character levels actually counts less than your alchemy levels as you want to be creating your armor and weapons for max def and max offence as a heads up! The Klee figure is so cute though, and weirdly has gone up in price on Amiami! I'm sure she was 16k originally and is now 19k? Also love the lil birb set, those were adorable!
I mostly only collect VG women figures (the exceptions being mostly Evangelions). I hope we get more Muse Dash figures, and I'm most looking forward to the upcoming Destiny Child figure and hope that leads to more there as well. Nikke is also about to release, so I expect more "girls with guns" figures alongside the hundreds we already get from the other gacha games. I have Ningguang in the post at the moment.
Kinda funny how upload time matched with Xiao by Apex going up for preorder lol. Anyone think he's oddly expensive? I mean 21-23k yen isnt unheard of for a 1/7 these days but usually the chinese manufacturers are better on price
Apex is usually a little bit more, but their quality is stellar. The Apex Lappland is a showstopper, imo, though her colours keep her pretty subdued and not too gawdy.

I play so many games and yet 99% of my gaming figures are for series I haven't played 💀cannot help the designs for onmyoji/azur lane/arknights are my favorite aesthetic
Time to pick up FGO, Azur Lane, Girls' Frontline, Arknights and Genshin Impact *at the same time*. Then, you can achieve true ascendance, and your collection will expand by the hundreds! I think those are the gacha game with the most proper figures. Though some might not be properly represented on MFC due to... reasons.
@@ArayaShikiMFC is technically a site that tracks Japan related products, which requires either JP origin or manufacture. Unfortunately, it is the best we have (I think) and there is no equivalent for global database of figure AFAIK. While this most significantly affect, for lack of a better phrase, Chinese stuff, given 4 of the 5 above titles, which are very popular and pump out figures like crazy, are Chinese and many figures are manufactured by Chinese Companies, this actually also affect purely western products. For example, my Widowmaker statue, officially sold by Blizzard so definitely not a bootleg/unlicensed product, is not listed. So unfortunately, the reality is we are(or want to) use MFC beyond its design. Someone(that's not lazy like me) need to fork the site to be global or something....
