they got laundry shop coz most of malaysia household dont have dryer . coz we always hang out laundry under the sun, but when its raining the laundry shop become useful
Laundromat or coin-operated laundry shops you're seeing is mostly used by locals that didn't have cloth dryer machine or when they wanted to clean a big pile of clothes as common households in Malaysia will have a small to medium sized washing machine that wouldn't be possible to fit everything. Sundry the clothes are more preferable and economically green-friendly as Malaysia is, you guess it, are warm all year round. :DD

Even when at my university doing masters back then, they're well known to speak the loudest on their phone for whatever reasons, without care about the echo caused around the living dorms.
