Cutting off false friends and toxic family who actively burden my life with their personal hurt and hate, and do not wish me well. With love, power, grace, and forgiveness. And I hope they find happiness and joy of God, in their unique lives as well. I call back all of my energy from them, so they can stand in their own strength. You may have to do it separately for each ex partner. Or do the ritual for the most recent ex or the one you strongly want to cut ties with.

As much as you want. As soon as you feel lighter, that's a good sign. You may also recite this prayer while doing the cutting cord ritual. Make sure that you use 3 candles. One for you, one that you will put in the middle that will separate you and the other person and the third candle that is for the other person. Put a string around them above them. Make sure that all candles burn and exhaust. Also make sure that they are not placed in the same dish. Or if you need to put a dish or a holder under them, make sure that each has their own separate dish/holder. Or else, it will just be like a binding spell. Good luck!
