Chris has repeat customers because of his inpicable work. Always listening to what the customer wants but isn't shy in telling the customer the dos and don't s and explaining and suggesting to them his point of view but the customer is always right even if there not. Great job, Chris.
I can only imagine how much the contractor appreciates a level clean work site to lay out foundations, etc. Makes their job a lot easier I'm imagining.
Thanks for posting you videos , I am new operator at 58 lol and I learn so much your videos. Yes I have gone through training before and are always learning new things from other operators your experience helps many people . Thanks
You sure keep Mr. Donnie busy hauling equipment back and forth to jobs - even those for Geoff Enterprises. Where I grew up, people took places that were old dairies during my childhood and made them into 1980s housing subdivisions.
Nice job as always think you may need a set of rippers for the dozer that clay looked hard but as is you got it done really nice pad when you finished for sure till next one Cheers
Grass does look good. Good to have some help even if it is a small job. Can see the difference in elevation at the end when not so evident at the beginning. Neat work.
Chris, this video speaks volumes to your character and ethics. I bet dollars to donuts that you'd've brought Betty to move that dirt for him if the Komat'su wasn't available. Thanks for being here, Chris. Thanks for sharing with us all. Thank you.
Thanks for the update, always enjoy watching, you make things sound and look easy. I would bet your clients appreciate your care and finish work on their property, they call it repeat work.
Dammit Man !! That clay was pretty freaking hard, it was turning the finish dozer sideways when you was trying to get it cut down !! But, you got it like you always do, had to get a little tough with the clay but, looking good Man !! Yeah Man, it always pays off, if you can do something little like that to help somebody out, when they are in a pinch like that to get started !! Great Work as always Chris !! Have a Great Evening, And On too the Next !! Hope you had a Great 4th. Holiday !!
2D Grade Control...One pass...On Grade. Locate the benchmark...Set the right tip, center or left tip of the blade on the benchmark....Press enter. Engage 2D Auto...the dozer blade will automatically adjust to the benchmark grade. If the dozer has cut a large amount of dirt to move...disengage 2D Grade Control. Assume manual control...cut to approximate grade. Engage 2D Grade Control and continue. 2D Grade Control can also be used for Percent of Slope and Percent of Grade (Increase or Decrease).
I know that the ground is very hard but I've used a Tractor with a Box blade and let the Teeth down in the Box blade to be able to break up the Hard Red packed Dirt !
Around five minutes in you said "some beautiful red clay" just as I was thinking you need that clay on a dam job instead of this. But it will compact good on the fill areas.
Chris your doing A Great 👍😃 Job and you have All of the nessairy Equipment anyone needs to be able to do every type of major Jobs that a person needs to be able to do anything that needs to be done 👍✅ 😅 !
Nice seeing pegs in the ground ,it's a pity the builder couldn't have laid out the house location for you,but you'll be back ,must be a game changer with being able to move the Komatsu on your trailer . Hey Chris ,are you planning to have the EGR and intake manifolds cleaned on the Ford ,as they tend to build up the carbon and create issues?
Hello My friend Chris and I'm wondering if you could level out the ground with your Road Grader and it seems like you would have a wider Grading and much easier to be able to level out the ground and for the House pad!
Having your own trailer makes moving from 1 place to another easier & both machines have AC & that is nice. My soapbox, a nice JD 670 would have been handy for this leveling, oh well if wishes were horses beggars would ride. You’ll get 1 someday. Do get tired of me nagging about a grader ???
He's been looking but it seems that auction prices for something that doesn't have three wheels in the scrapyard is going for new prices. As long as he can rent John's grader it's not so critical.
Nice short Letsdig18 friday episode is better than none. Chris definitely did a good job of getting that house pad ready for the builder. Makes his job way more easier.
Amazes me that with all this good clay you have; you don’t build in brick…or maybe you do and I haven’t seen it? :-) So many of the houses and bungalows you have look so flimsily constructed with the kind of timber better suited for a bookcase. Is it because you anticipate replacing them far sooner than a brick built house maybe?
@@BealyGood I bet you are after all of that pouring of concrete on the house. What a beautiful job you did before the pour because no mistake and it looks beautiful. I can't wait for the next floor after you rest up lol 😂
We use to help out our builders like that until they didn't want to pay us until the house was sold.sometimes 3 yrs.later.couldn't do it at our cost for that long.
@markpashia7067 Yeah, I'm guessing he's down under in beautiful Australia. I would love to go there for a vacation maybe for a month or two. I bet it's beautiful.
Hey Chris,I remember last year in a vídeo You said You'll expecting work until summer of 2024 but it's look's like You find work for a couple years more!😂😂😂😂
