DUKE BAYSEE. I have to laugh at callers like that "Christian." I personally have nothing against Christianity. If an individual wants to practice it, go ahead, everyone is free to do as they please. If it makes you feel happy and content, or even if it brings some solace your life, then sure. The problem arises when international governments uses to dictate to individuals as it pertains to living their lives. If intellectual Jamaicans can't see Christianity for what it is, then I wish them the best.
There are some people have always been advocating this system of government for Jamaica. Dr. Baruka you sound like you have all the solutions. Maybe you could accept a position as Minister of Government...maybe Minister of Finance to solve these problems for us. Talking the talk is very different from walking the walk Sir. its not that i am knowledgeable about the bible but i have done my own research, its just that we are taught not to question the bible, but to follow it without logical thought to trust in blind faith....well i am not blind so i find this hard to do and i have to question what i don't understand and do my own research but i find more questions and no answers so i came to the conclusion its tool used to suppress with no clarity and plenty of confusion, i mean how can i follow a religion that was never mine to follow in the first place...it was inflicted on us via slavery....as black people we're to quick to pick up other nations religions and claim it for our own... you have some christian's who say jesus is black, you have some black muslims who say islam is the black mans true religion....but yet it was US that gave both the arabs and europeans the concept of gods and goddesses because it was always male and female energy we dealt with because without the woman there is no life... unlike certain religions that treats women with almost contempt...but nearly 500 years of slavery has fucked up our minds to the point where we have lost our spirituality and look to them and their books they have used to enslave us to set us free spiritually to me its irrational..P&L
